No BS Brew Company Victor — Restaurant in Town of Victor

I really wanted to like this place but I have to be honest- it’s OK. But rather minimal. As someone else said - the lighting is grim - jails have lower light than this place . Far too bright to be cozy or comfortable. Fairly spartan ( not to say sterile or generic box) furnishings and not much character. Only spirits available are Black Button and a vodka from the mega distillery in Kings Ferry - all kind of basic really . Adequate, but minimal. On the positive side, they do have some decent beers, a few interesting ones, and a complete lack of really gimmicky beers , which is refreshing. I think the place could be great with a bit more work , and some fine tuning of the beer recipes. The basics are there , but right now it still needs to evolve. Weird vibe. No background music, florescent lighting, but it was clean. Beer seems fine, but my partner ordered an old fashioned and got a tulip glass with a tablespoon of sugar, two cherries, and bourbon in it. No mudding, no mixing, no orange peel- the sugar was literally in a little pile at the bottom. For $10. I just got married to Kevin on 10/18 and we hosted our welcome party at No BS in Victor on Friday. Steve and Chandra were such a pleasure to work with when it came to planning and hosting a lovely buffet spread.
