Am I aware that this will do nothing in the long run? Yes, but I'm am so overwhelmingly disappointed with the service I've received from this store. I took eight items to get framed, five the first time and three the second, totaling around $1500 for all. With the first batch they weren't done on the day they were supposed to be and one, a two sided antique map, was framed the wrong way. The guy who I picked these up from told me they'd fix it but there was a back log so he didn't know when it would be done. I got home with the other four and right away the wire on one of the frames broke off.
I brought it to get fixed, as well as the next three items I wanted to get framed at the same time. At this point it had been about three weeks since I had dropped off the map the first time and it still wasn't done. I said I would pick it up, the frame that had to be fixed, and all three new items at the same time in two weeks.
Two weeks comes and again, they're not done the day they're meant to be. When I am able to pick everything up the map still hasn't been touched and all three of the new works have been framed wrong, nothing is even, they're all done absolutely horribly. I do speak with a manager at this point who promises me that the map will be gotten to as soon as possible (it's been over a month since I dropped it off). Pretty much every manager that can know about what's happening is made aware. The three have to to get redone so I leave with only the frame that had to get fixed because the wire broke.
The next day I receive a call from a different manager who tells me they used tape on the antique map that I brought in and it has been damaged. They apologize profusely and promise to reimburse me for the map and the frame and they also give me back some money on the three that had to get redone. I do appreciate the way this was handled but I'm still furious they taped a 112 year old map.
That night I do to see the damage done to the map, get my refund and pick up the three that are now done correctly. I'm told that the framing manager is the one handling all my frames now so that everything is getting done correctly but that she won't be in again to do the map for a couple days but I'll get a call when the map is finally done (despite the damage, I still wanted it framed).
Well that day comes and goes. It's now been a week and half and I call the store once again to find out that it's been done, I was just never notified despite four different managers being aware of the situation. It's now June. I dropped this off back in APRIL. I am so disappointed with this store. I will say that the finished results are beautiful but not worth everything I had to go through.
Side note, this store is 40 minutes from me so it isn't like this is a a quick trip...

I walk up to a register right after another customer left the worker is still there and has their light on, I start taking my items out of my cart and the worker is still there, then just turns off the light and walks away. I wait a minute thinking she was coming backā¦. Nope left and couldnāt even be bothered to tell me she was done. And yes it was very obvious that she knew I was there. So I stand there a minute waiting for the cashier next to me to be done so I could slide over, but she calls the next customer in line instead, this happens a couple times before finally thereās no line and I can slide over. Again the workers obviously saw me there and couldnāt be bothered to even address me. Anyways I am finally able to slide over and I tell this worker āI guess the person at that one wasnāt taking anyone elseā and she says ā well yeah she went homeā so I said ā oh well she couldāve said something to meā and she says well her light is off soā¦. How rude. I didnāt care to continue the conversation because obviously these people just donāt care about customer service. I wonāt return, much easier to do my shopping on Amazon and not have to deal with these rude employees. This is why store like this close, hopefully this...

The store is often very messy and sometimes it can be difficult to find what I need. Some of the aisles seem very disorganized and Iāve even tripped over boxes lying in the aisles before.
Some employees are not very friendly with customers. Had an incident recently where there were TWO employees at the registers but refused to check us out, instead directing us to the self checkout. I was purchasing some ceramic pieces and was hoping they would wrap them in paper for me. I had to ask for paper and instead of them handing me some, they just pointed at it on another self checkout register. Very rude.
The website will often state an item is in stock when it is in fact, not. I understand this isnāt the stores fault but it happens so often at this particular location and is mildly frustrating.
