This restaurant is exactly what this town needed! There is very limited places where you can get a good lunch that doesn't make you feel guilty when you leave. It has also become, really hard for me to eat out with my food allergies, but the staff is amazing accommodating and super knowledgeable on all kinds of food allergies and dietary restrictions. The menu is primarily Gluten free and vegan based from the start so that you don't have to make tons of changes to fit into my diet. They also offer TONS of different protein options for people who are not vegan to sub in, which makes it a great choice for couples who have two different diets. The staff is super friendly and the food always looks beautiful!

Brand new place, just 10 days old. Very cozy place, mostly vegan but they do offer dishes with chicken in them. Lots of great choices and they will gladly sub tofu, tempeh or seitan if you wish. My tempeh and carrot sandwich on Rock Hill Bakery bread was outstanding. Really enjoyed the Brew Dr vanilla oak kombucha. One recommendation would be to research local and regional kombucha as there are a couple of great brewers. The owner was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Give Whole Harvest Co a try if you're in the area.

Awful BLTS. Ordered two vegan blts, one with carrot, one with tempeh. The carrot was straight up burnt. The flavor profile of the sandwich was burnt carrots. It was literally inedible And this is coming from someone who would eat a sandwich from the garbage can if the circumstances were right. The tempeh bacon was NOT cooked.you know you’re supposed to cook tempeh bacon right. To top it off, neither sandwich was served with any mayonnaise or sauce of any nature. Just served on toasted plain bread… it’s so hard to mess up sandwiches but some how some way.

I work in town and have given this place several tries but each time I walk away disappointed and poorer. First time I ordered a smoothie and it was so awful in taste and texture I threw most of it out. Second visit tried a grain bowl, the portion was small and lacked flavor. The listed ingredients were all there but in small portions. Example, if it came with strawberries, you probably only get what would total to one and a half small strawberries. My friend also asked for extra spices and hot sauce on the side for her bowl because again it lacked any flavor. This most recent time, I tried a different bowl and asked for tempe added on. When I opened the box it appeared to be missing. I questioned it and the cook explained it fell apart when cooked. If it was in there I couldn't tell at all. But to be fair I wrongly assumed this would be a cold dish like the other bowls and salad it is listed with. It came out like a hot box of slop with guac on top. Nothing more unappetizing than hot guac. Again, no flavor, not even a hint of salt that I could taste. Mind you these bowls are not cheap. I ate it, but was wishing for something else with every bite. So it is with certainty that I will not attempt any more orders from this place and hope that they reevaluate their recipes in a way where people can actually enjoy eating healthy. Plus side, I ordered during peak lunch hours and there was no line. Oh wait,...

Not a bad place, but the price doesn’t justify what you get. $84 for four pb&j, four kids smoothies and two rice bowls. Service guy was nice, but the bathroom was poorly maintained.

Update: Thank you for taking the time to promptly respond, it shows that you care and are invested in providing the best service possible. I do understand that the prices are listed and we knew that ahead of time, but my purpose for sharing was so that other families can know what to expect prior to visiting. It was $13 per child and they were all hungry again an hour later, therefore from a big family perspective, the cost wasn't justified. I don't think this is a bad establishment, hence leaving a 4 star review and not less, but from my perspective, our experience did not merit the excellence a 5 star review would imply.

As far as the bathrooms go, yes, we did notify the staff at the front desk and he did not attend to the bathrooms even though there was a good period of time where no new guests entered the restaurant. A poorly maintained bathroom is, in my opinion, a huge indicator of the overall quality standard a restaurant provides its customers. Consequently if there were a star rating option for cleanliness, I would've given 2 stars for that at most. Something to consider. Thanks again...

I initially didn't notice this place, as it is on Caroline street and has a small tucked-away door. What a beautiful surprise when I had my first meal! The inviting, cozy interior is complemented by warm, approachable staff who are eager to recommend different dishes. They are also happy to give you details about different ingredients if you're picky like me or have allergies.

What I find most surprising is the food quality. The dishes here are absolutely bursting with complex, yet balanced flavors. I am a very picky eater, and everything I have eaten has been absolutely delicious! So much so it makes me question what I do and do not like to eat. For example, I do not like carrots or coconut... and yet somehow I love the coconut-carrot puree that comes with some of the grain bowls and salads. You have also got to try the peanut-lime sauce - YUM!

I think this is a bit of a secret gem because it's not totally easy to find, but it has quickly become my favorite and go-to place for lunch and sometimes early dinner.

If you like food that tastes amazing and is also healthy, this is the place to go.

Recommended dishes: *The Toga-rashi *Kale...
