I really like that there is a bounce house play area in the mall, but I dislike the back and forth negotiation of being told there aren't in/out privileges and having a "one time" exception be made just to go into the mall the go to the bathroom. There is no bathroom in or near the play area and food is not allowed. I wish they had wrist bands or hand stamps so you can leave to go to the bathroom or eat a snack and then come back to play. Similar play places generally have either a different color wrist band or different hand stamp design for each day of the week. Once you pay for the day you can leave and come back in that same day. My son loves the bounce house so I'm sure we'll be back at some point, but definitely not as often now that I'm aware of the formal policy.
ETA I'm not sure what the capacity is, but there were 4 other kids in the play area and no more than 7 the entire time we were there (about 90 minutes). This was less than the last time we were here so I have to assume they were not at capacity. We did NOT leave for a prolonged break and were gone less than 20 minutes, but still made to feel like we were breaking the rules by leaving to go to...
Read morewould be 5 stars. It's as local funbox-like you can get for the price. The owner I assume works at the diy gated fence was nice but he didn't pay attention when kids randomly took balls and threw it outside the structures. One kid kept doing until one ball went his way, then he finally told them to stop. He was busy watching his phone the whole time. I assume he thinks parents responsibility. This isn't a public plaground, you need rules and educate the kids and parents before letting them in. At least basic rules. But that one kid parents weren't around. The same kid was pushing other kids down and then he started to do that to my kid and I had to walk up and tell him to stop. Wish the worker/owner would be more attentive. These structure might be safe but other kids needs rules. He shoild place some basic rules. Like no pushing and kicking other kids. Also, for the price of almost funbox, wish it was more than only two structures. Maybe also they can add another...
Read morePARENTS WITH KIDS BELOW 3 BEWARE!
Fun place but VERY unsafe for small kids. Plenty of bigger kids who are rowdy and play very roughly, with no regard for the smaller ones.
Many irresponsible parents also do not watch their bigger kids, instead they sit at the tables and leave the kids to their own devices completely. Coupled with the fact that there are no additional staff (apart from the one at the front desk) to watch / handle the kids and ensure they play in a safe manner (wait their turn to go down the slide, etc.) small kids get hurt very quickly.
There was only one staff member here, and they seemed pretty aloof / unbothered by the unsafe play, so all in all it felt like pretty poor management.
Tldr; due to unsafe play and irresponsible parents, this place could do with additional staff to ensure the safety of the kids, especially...
