Carter's — Local services in Troutdale

When I 1st had my daughter in September 2020, this Carter's ocation was my "Go To", spot for ALL her clothing needs, between the cute styles, the great sales & price points, and the great size runs, and stock on hand are AMAZING at this location, I even drive from Beaverton to come here a few times a month, however today really changed my opinion on Carter's ans this location specifically.. Everytime I come in here you literally have to watch your receipt a d what stuff rings up as because the sales are hardly ever programmed into system, or it doesn't offer a discount if the correct discount at all in some cases.. I visited another Carter's location in November 2020 the Centralia Wa Outlets, and returned a few things, I obtained a store credit gift card as I always shop at Carter's and knew I would use it, I used it once previously without any problems until today, I came into this location with my husband and daughter, we shopped for quite a while and then we came to check out, for the store credit gift card pin # not be valid or able to clearly read to redeem?? The cashier Philippine lady wouldn't rectify anything or try to help me redeem any part of my gift card whatsoever, another cashier was helping helping at this time, I finished and paid cash instead of using it, then as my cashier and the other coworker conversed to themselves over the phone with corporate office with my gift card in hand, my husband & 6 month old daughter went to the car & wait.. I overheard the ladies speaking about corporate can cancel my gift card, and issues me a new one but it will be to me maybe Monday?? I literally asked for my card & left the store, I'll be returning my items I purchased today and won't shop there anymore!! One of the ladies her badge stated she worked there 10 years, then why don't you know how to process a gift card or problem solve because I am sure this isn't the only time you've had this issue!!! Also DON'T GET GIFT CARDS AS IF YOU SCRATCH TOO HARD YOU CAN'T SEE PIN# AND THEN YOU CAN'T REDEEM, GIFT CARD IS WORTHLESS OF THAT...

Comprehensive children's boutique with a sizeable selection of fashionable apparel and accessories, at reasonable prices, particular when there is a sale on; and as this an outlet store, sales are prevalent here. We were mostly ignored by the staff during our entire visit until check out (they even failed to welcome us when we entered), so perhaps some customer interaction training is in order: a more welcoming environment, as well as pointing out any current sales and deals could only benefit the shop. It was my first time in the store. I am in a wheelchair, and I brought my Mother who used a walker with me. Everyone was accommodating. Note: the door to the store is not automatic, but the clerks jumped in to open the doors for us. We had a specific thing we were looking for. The store clerks were very helpful and friendly. When we found an item we loved, but they did not have the right size, they offered to order it and mail it direct to our home at no additional cost.
