I recently visited this Starbucks at the Columbia Gorge Outlets and had a disappointing experience. I kindly requested a customized iced drink at the register, and the barista taking my order was very polite and cordial. However, my drink was made hot instead. When I respectfully pointed out the mistake, they remade it, but unfortunately, the second attempt was poorly done—excessive milk, barely any ice (despite requesting it filled to the top), and overall a bland, warm drink with little flavor.
What made the experience worse was the attitude of the baristas. I could visibly see their frustration when remaking my drink, and the rushed, sloppy way they put it together made me regret even asking for the correction. It felt like my presence there was an inconvenience to them, despite my politeness.
To top it off, I ordered three drinks to go, yet no one offered me a drink carrier. I had to wait until a barista finally came back to the counter just to ask for one.
This visit left me with a bad impression of Starbucks customer service. I won’t be returning...
Read moreThis location specifically is usually out of ingredients that are required to actually make their drinks such as Oat milk sometimes 2% milk and then when you’re presented with options to substitute and you make a choice you get charged extra as if it’s a customization of a drink. I have called the Starbucks customer line and they said that this is just the way the system works. I have also gone to a different location where they were out of all milks they didn’t have any oat milk didn’t have any almond milk and they didn’t have any coconut milk and no 2% milk so my option was water or half-and-half—-I went with the half and half and I was charged an extra fee for it. I don’t think that that’s fair at all, First of all we’re stuck drinking a drink that we don’t really enjoy it’s not made it to our customizations it’s not their stock drink menu but here we are having to pay extra for something we don’t prefer…so pay more for something you enjoy a lot less…please fix that Starbucks! Read moreWent through the drive thru yesterday evening, once I got my drink, it was A LITTLE BIT MORE THAN HALF FULL. I asked the lady at the window about it, she replied, “it was probably the foam.” I asked for a stirrer, and pulled the Foam back. To find what I expected, it was never filled, but definitely had lots of foam. I asked if it was possible for her to make again, or fix it? She took my cup, gave it to her male barista in a apathetic, unprofessional manor, never apologized. looked in my cup again only to see that he had top my drink off with more FOAM!. Mentioned it to the lady again, calmly. Only for her to reply ok, have a nice day. I own a restaurant, I have to say her service was unacceptable, definitely...
