I wish I could give 0 stars. I had the most horrendous experience here today. I bought three pieces of candy. 1 m&m pretzel, 1 peanut butter cup and 1 chocolate covered marshmallow. The total was $17.80 which I thought was a little spendy, but what the heck, it was a treat for my family. I paid, the girl folded the bag to seal it and I picked up the bag at the fold only to see she folded the bottom instead of the top. All the items fell on the floor. The other girl working said, no problem, we will replace those. Cool! We cleaned the mess on the floor (with no offer of help or even a broom from staff....) Then it turned into awkward waiting for the manager who said the items would indeed not be replaced. But we could buy the same items again at cost (about another $9).....okay so $27 for THREE pieces of candy. I declined and was very irritated as this was all caused by an employee error and the fact that we were told it would be replaced. So to cover this again. Spent 17.80 on 3 pieces of candy and left with nothing after cleaning the mess ourselves due to an employee error. Surely a corporation that throws away the old candy would surely be fine replacing 3 items. Nope. When I called to speak with the manager again he said I yelled at them and then slammed the door (both blatant lies) and he was very argumentative, condescending and flat out rude. There was zero effort to make things right. I am in shock over how poorly this situation was handled. I used to love this company but after this experience I will never set foot here again. If this is how you treat loyal customers, I wish you luck in staying in business. I have been in contact with corporate and will happily change my review if the situation is rectified.

Read moreI brought my children in for an after school treat today and after receiving a pecan covered caramel apple, I cut into it and discovered it had mold inside so I took it back and the cashier said they could replace it no problem. The cashier cut into two different apples that they immediately discarded then handed me a different new apple that I discovered was also moldy inside. I calmly asked for a refund and was informed that they were unable to grant me a refund because they didn’t have that capability. When I asked if there was someone I could call I was informed that there was nobody I could call to address the issue but I could leave my name and number and someone would get back to me. I agreed and returned to my car only to find that I didn’t have a proof of purchase and sent my son in to get a copy of the receipt printed and the cashier told him that they were unable to get that. I went back into the shop and asked again for a receipt to prove that I paid for it when I came back to speak to someone one with more authority. The entire time I was there the cashier pretended as though they had no way to contact a manager or rectify the situation. They wouldn’t even discard the other apples in the tray that all of the others came from to prevent other customers from getting sick. Eventually after pressing they called their manager and refunded me the money but the amount of time it took to get 9$ back and the lack of concern about feeding people mold is unprofessional and down right disgusting. Read moreI got a carmel apple and the chocolate was good. But, the apple itself was dry and not crisp. When I went back in and asked about the apples. The lady working the store asked what color the stick was. She continues to tell me those were made over a week and a half ago. When I asked her to replace my apple with a fresh one. She said no that they weren't moldy or expired. I am very dissatisfied and frustrated. I will never come back here again. And I was very fruatrated when there wasn't anyone else in the store to talk to besides the overly friendly associate. I wasted my money and I'm frustrated with the poor customer service to resolve my problem.
