Originally, I purchased a pair of Levi’s from the website and when I got them, I decided I needed a size bigger. I went to the Levi store in Portland and the girl who was helping me was very gung ho about returning my Levi’s and then doing a separate transaction where I purchased them again and she’d give me the discount I got online. I don’t know if she did it this way so she could get credit for the sale or what, but it led to problems. She returned the Levi’s and then didn’t have my size. She then tried to order me the size online and said the shipping would take almost 3 weeks. I decided not to buy the online order and another employee named Bri told me they would likely have my size at the store I am reviewing now. I asked if it would be a problem to get the discount I originally got at the other store and Bri said that 1, she would be there the next day and 2, she would write a note on the receipt. Which she did. I went to the store I’m reviewing now and when I walked in, there was an employee who asked if I needed any help finding anything. I explained the situation and she said that matching the price wouldn’t be a problem. I found the jeans I wanted to purchase and just as I walked up to the register the girl I had originally talked to disappeared in the back. I sat there waiting for 10 minutes, while a woman kept looking at me who I couldn’t tell if she was an employee or not. Finally, after 10 minutes, she asked me if anybody was helping me and I said no. She comes up to the register and I start to explain the situation and she starts giving me attitude and questioning why things were done this way and why I didn’t have the other jeans to exchange. This goes back-and-forth for a while and I tell her to call Bri or the store I originally returned them to as Bri was not there like she said she was going to be. Finally she says “I feel like you’re giving me attitude”... so I start giving her attitude as attitude was all I was getting from her. After I start giving her attitude, a teenager from behind me in line tells me that I need to respect women as if gender had anything to do with the situation… after I checked out, I thank them for such a lovely shopping experience and left. I will not be coming back or purchasing...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I stopped by here on April 30th, she found some great deals but realized one of the tags was damaged. So she brought up a second jacket to the register to help the situation. The lady who was working there was taking multiple people at different registers. She was going back and forth and already somewhat felt as if we weren't the focus. When my girlfriend explained that the tag was damaged and why she had a second. The older African American lady was incredibly rude and condescending. Staying " I know what I'm doing and I can just scan the tags, there was no need for this" which took me aback. During the transaction she paused visbly annoyed and also spoke to her colleague over her radio in a disrespectful and demanding manner. Which working retail in the past, gave insight as to what kind of person she was. Once the transaction was done she did not give us a bag which the lady she was also helping adjacent to us did receive. I have no idea why she treated us differently. But she needs to be coached to give...
Read morePoor customer service not willing to help. The woman refused service because we did not have a receipt to return the jeans to just get a different size, in todays electronic day an age you would figure by using card they would have the sale in the system an could do it that way. But no, they refused. I don’t know if there was a change in policy but because we didn’t have receipt in hand we were told to call customer service and leave promptly. They threatened police if we did not leave never got loud or used foul language. Last time we bought $80 jeans from this specific store and had to return we had a great experience. Even received a giftcard. Just poor service I can go to Fred Meyers an get Levi’s and return without the hassle or threats. They Never gave a store # or a name of who was helping us. Didn’t receive a customer service # either. I work hospitality If I treated a customer this way I would have gotten a write up. Will...
