I would like to bring to everyone's attention the absolute joke of a company LG is. My phone today changed its own password which I was told by LG is a known problem. The only way to fix this is a complete reset. How a phone can have this issue and still cost $900 I'm not quite sure. I called customer service and politely asked to speak to a manager when I realized the low-level person couldn't help me with the situation. I was placed on hold and after 45 minutes called again. The second time I called I was placed on hold and they ended the call after 8 minutes. I called a third time and the representative asked me to go through ALL of the troubleshooting tips again before she would let me speak with a manager. After another 40 minutes, I got to speak with a manager who told me that he could have the phone looked at by LG but it would take between 14 and 28 business days and they will not be providing a temporary device. When I asked to speak to someone above him he told me that there is no one above him. When I asked him if there was any way I could speak to anyone of authority besides driving to the LG headquarters he laughed and said no. I paid just under $1000 for a device that changed its own password and I will now lose all of the data off of this phone. My LG V10 before this died with no damage and I lost all of my data than, my LG G4 had to be sent in for a replacement due to the same issue as the V 10, My LG G3 had the same issue as both the V10 and the G4 and my LG Optimus G Pro before that had a problem where I wouldn't be able to recover the data. Setting aside the worst customer service I've ever dealt with, LG has taken away conversations from friends that I will never be able to speak to again, they have taken my photos from memories that I will never be able to recreate. There's no price I can put on those things. You've lost a loyal LG customer over 8 years. I will NEVER buy their product again. If you value your data, I recommend purchasing any other device. Paid $700 for a brand new LG oven & stove with a glass ceramic stove top. Two days after using it, while cooking, I clumsily dropped a small glass bottle of seasoning onto the stove top and cracked it.
LG tried to charge me $400 to replace it! (That's roughly 2/3 of the new purchase price...just for a top!) I decided to just use it cracked. Three weeks later, both the stove and oven suddenly stopped working. The digital display still worked, but no heat was coming from the stove top or oven.
This technical issue was covered by the warranty. However, in the process of scheduling the repair technician, they discovered my stove top had cracked and subsequently refused to schedule the free repair until after I paid the $400 for a new top, citing safety concerns.
LG makes a very brittle stove that cracks from the smallest bottle falling onto it, and it's hard to imagine anyone cooking for very long without accidently dropping or knocking something over.
Just know that, once that happens, LG WILL NOT help you with any issues, including those covered by warranty, until you replace the top for $400 out of pocket, on a $700 oven.

Chief, you haven't the same problem with my microwave and it keeps sitting in technicians. Repairs, it goes right back out. Left in a month for the fifth time. This is a bad review.
