Extremely disappointed! I recently went to the Nordstrom Spa to get what I thought was going to be a relaxing 1hr and 30min treatment. However, it was far from that.
The nail techs cell phone kept going off (rang once and then multiple texts kept coming through, throughout different times during my 1hr 30 min service! I had a cloth over my eyes but since she kept stopping in the middle of my services, I finally lifted it up enough so I could see what she was doing and she was TEXTING! Iām sorry but when Iām paying $120.00 for a mani/pedi this is totally unacceptable! If I wanted to be treated like a $20.00 customer I would of gone to an Asian nail salon! Going forward I will take my money else where and hope the Nordstromās Spa gets their act together, otherwise they wonāt make it in this industry!
My nail services were probably one of the worst/most painful mani/pedi Iāve ever had. The tech was super aggressive with the cuticle trimmers. So bad, where times I almost asked her to stop!
The āquietā area was super distracting and not relaxing AT ALL! The techs were extremely loud going in and out of kitchen/storage area. (This has happened on previous spa trips as well) Talking like they were in a lunch room. They didnāt seem to care their were high paying customers (who in turn are paying there wages) who were sitting right outside trying to relax.
The nail tech didnāt seem knowledgeable on any of the products that she was trying to up-sell me on. After the service was over Iām glad I didnāt waste the extra $30.00.
The nail tech rushed through all parts that included massaging and didnāt seem like she was well trained in āspa etiquetteā as well as her own...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNordstrom spa used to be the place to go for a special spa treatment. The staff at Nordstrom Spa are very professional and kind. They are the reason the spa does well, I am sure of that fact.
My daughter (an adult) and I both received gel pedicures. While the polish on our toes was done meticulously, the rest of the experience was quite lackluster. My daughter had a cold dry wash cloth placed on her forehead, (supposed to be a warm eye cover), no sugar scrub, and no lotion or massage. My experience included all of the promised elements on the spa menu however, the massage, scrub and lotion, which are the best parts in my opinion were extremely lacking. The total massage time may have been 5 minutes. On the spa menu, the amount of time for the pedicure was supposed to be 1 hour and 15 minutes. Neither one of our treatments was that amount of time. It was extremely disappointing. Going to a high end spa, one expects way more than we received. Sadly, I am disappointed in our services and would not recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI received a massage and pedicure. While the Massage was amazing, I wouldn't waste my time or money on the pedicure. There's a shared room where you soak your feet then they move you into a private room. By the time I made it to the private room and waited for the manicurist, my cuticles was hard. That was the most painful pedicure I probably ever received. Typically you leave your feet in the water while they cut your other foot's cuticles then you switch feet. I never experience leaving your feet out of water for a extensive period of time before they start on your cuticles. With that being said I will not spend 35 or however much it was on another pedicure or manicure there but the massage was great. Plus the masseuse was really nice and the manicurist seemed a little bothered...
