Horrible HORRIBLE experience. I ordered a planter with carnations and they didnt arrive. (I later learned they did arrive, but they werent seen by the family until later, matching the initial story I was given by flowerama that they arrived at 130pm) I was told by Flowerana they did arrive, they just arrived late. I was assured by flowerama associate that I'd get a full refund and that a manager would call me Sunday. They never called. I talked to one associate via phone who was nasty and couldn't even find my order. The second person found where I paid for it. Of course I will follow up with them and if I dont see my refund I will dispute it with my bank. Just a disaster. Poor to no customer service...find another Florist!!! ///// well it continues...2 days later I find out Flowerama gave my personal information to someone at the funeral home to have them call me and tell me the planter I purchased was received. They did this without my permission and in fact they did this in spite of the fact that I gave specific instructions not to release my contact information TO ANYONE, including the funeral home. I gave these instructions for a reason.. They released my private information anyhow. Had I located the planter and this inexcusable mistake not occurred I would have probably called to say I found it and forget the refund. They would have just lost my business. Now, it's been made 1000% more serious .... and the person who called me from the funeral home got rude with me when he called and I tried to explain things. This entire situation. Is not ok! ////// I find it interesting that the reply I received from this store was so scewed with misinformation. I made it clear to them that the planter was finally located. First I was told it was delivered at 130pm, then their story changed to 930am. Now they're throwing out an 1130 am time that was never given to me in any of our conversations and this is due to some mysterious glitch in their system. They were given Specific instructions to not give my information to the funeral home or anyone else. I used those words. Their response is in my opinion a lame attempt to cover up a mistake on their part. I also might add that I was trying to reason with the owner, when she called me back finally, and she hung up on me. Needless to say, in spite of their meager attempts to make me look bad in writing, I know what was said and how it was handled. Yes, I received a refund. No it doesnt repair the damage that was done. Sincere apologies and honesty goes a long way In the end. But after my experience here... I say consumer beware...I'm taking my business elsewhere and there's not much else that...
Read moreUpdate: Received a call from Jamie (pardon any misspelling) about this review. She was friendly and did what she could to resolve the issue and apologize for the problem noted below. She seemed sincere and offered service recovery (a replacement bouquet or a gift card), which was appreciated, but declined. The bouquet my wife received was attractive, but still was not what was requested for what I would consider a very important occasion (our 30th wedding anniversary). There was apparently some sort of mixup in the notes as the order was taken, which she acknowledged. Thanks for for response Jamie. Can't go 5 stars since it was still broken and soured the occasion for me, but updating to 4 for the effort at service recovery.
Suggestion to customers: If placing a custom order, ask staff to repeat back to you what you've requested. I didn't think to do this, but if i had, the order likely would have been fine.
Original review: Blew a custom order for my wife's 30th anniversary bouquet. I actually went into the store (30 mins one-way as I thought they would be competent) to arrange a custom arrangement to include red roses (to signify love), calla lillies (which they didn't have in stock), peach carnations and grey accents (to match our wedding colors).
Somehow this translated into "do whatever the hell you want", because I got peach roses, pink (?) carnations, and a note card that misspelled her name. Thanks for screwing up my 30th anniversary gift to my wife Flowerama.
Their response when made aware? "Really sorry about that." ...
Read moreMy experience with this store has left me pretty frustrated. I put in an order and scheduled to pick it up the next evening. The item I ordered showcased Sunflowers among an assortment of other types.
First off I should have known there would be issues when it took the two workers approximately 10 minutes to find my order in the back. It felt like the communication between shifts was a bit lacking.
Finally they found my arrangement and unfortunately the main draw (the Sunflowers) were removed because the only ones they had were dying. I understand this is a possibility when ordering flowers. However, contacting me prior to making this decision seems like a pretty common sense type thing. If someone would have reached out to me and explained the situation most of this could have been avoided. I ended up just requesting a refund because the whole reason I ordered this arrangement was for those Sunflowers.
I also have yet to receive the email they told me was coming as proof of the refund. I'm hoping that's just an oversight and I'll get my money back promptly. Something tells me that may not be the case though... we'll see.
Bottom line - I don't think it's unreasonable to say that I will not be returning to this location for any...
