HOPEFULLY YOU HAVE A BETTER EXPERIENCE, BUT I WILL NEVER GO BACK! HERE'S WHY: Went into this store today and saw that there was no line for ordering, however there was a line of people waiting to get the food they had already ordered. About 7-8people. Noticing that the crew was under pressure (maybe having just got over a rush or something) I gave them kind eyes and began looking at the menu (even though I knew what I wanted) to let them know they could take their time. While I was waiting, 4 young ladies came in and stood in line behind me. Once they got a chance to catch up, the young man came back to the ordering line and didn't even acknowledge me or thank me for being so patient, instead he asked the young lady behind me for her order. I looked around in awe and noticed that other people were noticing what was happening as well and decided to wait until he had finished taking her order. As soon as he finished saying "we'll get that right up for you, it'll be just a moment", I said "So did you not see me standing here 2 minutes before she even walked in??" Not even looking at me, he responded "oh, sorry". I politely said "I'll eat elsewhere, you have a good day!" And walked out! I will never go back to this place! I have never felt so unappreciated and disrespected as a customer! Not to mention my local Gengi is closed right now so I went out of my way to spend money here and this is how I'm treated?? My family of 6 eats Gengi Go once a week... You can kiss my $80/week goodbye! We can go back to having pizza...
Read moreMy wife and I went to the Broad Street Reynoldsburg location on February 22nd around 4:30 pm. We ordered a Super Sumo Bowl with 3 meats (steak, chicken and shrimp) veggies and fried rice. We asked how long the sumo bowls would be around for and the woman said untill they are out of football shaped bowls. We noticed a tall man in the kitchen eating his food over the prep table. My wife asked the woman if he would be preparing my food because it concerns me that he’s not wearing gloves and is eating his lunch right in front of us. She said he would not be making our bowls. We were less than surprised to see him cooking the shrimp for our meal immediately after taking bites of his food. We were not happy. He then dropped one of your 10 shrimp outside the prep container so we wait for the other gentleman to replace it. When my wife and go to gather our food the woman tells my wife “you need to sign the receipt, you’re getting distracted by them” so imagine my delight to get home and realize that she forgot to put my wife’s steak in with our order. I had to drive back to pick up part of my meal yet she has the nerve to tell my wife she’s being “distracted “ by someone not being sanitary who IS cooking my food. Very unprofessional and we felt disrespected, we will travel further to another location to get Gengi Go to avoid this from happening again. You need better staff to represent you...
Read moreNormally very good but can no longer buy food here.
I tried to request the nutritional information for their menu at the store and the employees were clueless. Believing this to be required by the US FDA I contacted Genji on their website and they responded and less than 24 hours that they "do not fall under the federal requirements" for this. Upon further research I see that that is true. They do not have enough locations to meet Federal requirements to provide that information upon request at the store. I then tried to request that information directly by email and after more than a week now they have failed to respond. So therefore they basically refused to provide any evidence that their food is actually food. My family normally likes their food and the service is always very good but trying to become more health conscious of the food that we eat I can no longer give them my business until they become more forthcoming with the quality of their product. If they ever change their mind and decide to provide the nutritional information I hope to be able to return there...
