I feel like I was taken advantage of.

I took my ring in to have 2 speed bumps added so that it wouldn't rotate on my finger. They never sized my finger or the ring, but when I picked it up I was told to try it out for a few days and bring it back if it needed to be adjusted. My ring was beautiful, cleaner than I ever remembered it, and the work was clearly done well. When I paid, I left a tip because I was extremely pleased with the service and the unexpected cleaning.

I wore the ring for 8 days and the speed bumps were just too tight. I took it back in, they took a look and said "yeah, we can just take those down a little bit".

I returned another week later to pick it up. Again, it looked beautiful. But I was charged a $28 polishing fee. The fee itself is not the issue, it's that it absolutely was not implied that there would be an additional fee nor do I believe it's fair. In any industry, if you pay someone for a job and it ends up not being what you asked for, it's common practice that they'll fix it because they want you to be happy and they stand by their work. Plus, I feel like this could have been avoided if they'd ever just sized my finger in the first place.

I took two of my wife's rings in for repair. Ryan was amazing, very knowledgeable and did just a fantastic job! The cost was pretty much what I expected. Not cheap, but certainly well worth the work he did. He even took a bit off because the second ring took a bit longer than he anticipated. I tried to pay full price, but he insisted.
