We did a kitchen remodel including all major appliances (fridge, cooktop, cooktop exhaust, oven, microwave, dishwasher), all purchased through this business. I am writing this review after leaving 2 messages over the period of 4 weeks (plenty of time to call back) with the manager with a request to call me in hopes of providing feedback to him. This lack of responsiveness is representative of my experience with this business.
While they have a beautiful showroom on Oracle that is absolutely worth looking at, I would recommend going elsewhere to actually purchase your appliances. The customer service I received significantly degraded after we made the initial deposit, despite my attempts to be friendly, respectful, and understanding.
I felt that the salesperson was pushing KitchenAid appliances very hard, to the point I was wondering if she was getting a commission from them. This was despite my stated preference for GE. I actually changed one appliance to a GE from a KitchenAid once I got home and saw the horrible reviews on the fridge I had been talked into.
After purchase, my calls were always sent to voice mail, and often were not returned for 2-3 days.
Despite being reassured that I would receive updates on my order, I received none and had to make all calls myself. I was told at one point that my order would arrive in 2 days and that they would call that day. I again had to call that day, and was told that my order had slipped 3 months, with no explanation. I struggle to understand how the data was that flawed 2 days prior.
The date was able to be pulled in by around 2 months (good news), but then there was significant chaos in trying to get deliveries and installs scheduled. I would be told one date, and the general contractor managing my remodel would be told another date. Given that I was working and needed to plan access to the home, this level of uncertainty was untenable.
When I expressed this to the person I was working with, they subsequently refused to talk to me about dates, even though I was the only person who could speak to my availability (and I was the one who had paid for the appliances).
The dishwasher rack was broken upon receipt (stuff happens). However, twice the wrong part was ordered, resulting in my being home without the issue being resolved and for my dishwasher rack being inoperable for well over a month. The 2nd time the repair tech company decided to order extra parts themselves - otherwise it would have been a 3rd trip.
I was told by one of the service tech employees that complaints about customer service at AZ Appliance and Home were common, and that I should consider speaking to the manager so that he would be aware. I went to the store and, as mentioned, called twice and gave ample time for a return call. Hence this review.
This is my third house to do a kitchen remodel in - I can strongly RECOMMEND Lowe’s (2 out of 3 very successful and great customer service) unless you are buying something very custom. I am sorry I did not go with them for...
Read moreI had an absolutely terrible experience with Arizona Appliance and Home in Tucson, AZ. In July 2024, I paid this company to measure for a new refrigerator, wine fridge, and ice machine. From the beginning, communication was a nightmare. Daniella rarely called back, despite me calling repeatedly. It took over a month just to schedule a simple measurement. That should’ve been my first red flag.
In early September, I finally picked out my appliances and paid nearly $25,000 on September 11, 2024. I was assured that all items were in stock and just needed to be delivered from the Phoenix warehouse. Once again, Daniella went silent, and after numerous calls, I was finally told on September 19 that only the refrigerator would be delivered on September 25, with the other items arriving later. Frustrated but still hoping things would improve, I moved forward.
On September 25, the refrigerator was installed, but just four days later, the freezer stopped working. I called first thing Monday morning and was told Daniella would call me back. She never did. After demanding to speak with her later that day, she finally said a technician could come, but not until Tuesday or Wednesday—this was right before a wedding reception I was hosting that weekend! For a $15,000 brand-new fridge, this should not have happened.
The technician came and found a faulty sensor, replaced it, and left. The freezer worked briefly but failed again by Saturday afternoon. Despite calling multiple times, including the office and Daniella’s cell phone, no one responded. I left countless messages but was ignored. We had to use ice for the reception on Sunday, which was incredibly frustrating.
On Monday, after making over 10 calls with no response, I drove to the office in person. When I arrived, the front desk person immediately recognized me, meaning they had received my voicemails but chose to ignore them. While I spoke to the manager about my experience, I could hear employees in the background making comments, as if I had no right to be upset over a $25,000 order that had gone horribly wrong. The manager made excuses about their phone system, but it was clear they just didn’t care. At that point, I demanded a full refund.
In the end, after three months, I was left with a faulty fridge and two items that were never delivered. Arizona Appliance and Home’s lack of professionalism, poor communication, and blatant disregard for their customers make them a company to avoid. Save yourself the headache and...

Due to long waits on all appliances there were many ups and downs while we were waiting but every time I called to check on whether my appliances were in yet Barbara was so very helpful and kind and even better she was calm! They were amazing and very knowledgeable about the installation not to mention very strong to move a 1000 pound refrigerator and never complained!
