We had a horrible experience at this location last night. My husband and I and our four kids walked in at 10:45. The staff was helping a couple who were there before us for almost the full 15 minutes before closing. When it was our turn, they told us it was already time to close and that we had to leave. We told them we had been in line for fifteen minutes and why didn’t they say anything before? The young woman attending us said it was too late. Then they all disappeared in the back for a while. When they returned, the same woman told us very rudely to leave. I told her she was being rude and asked to speak to the manager, and she said she was the manager. When I told her she shouldn’t treat customers this way, especially in front of kids, she irrationally yelled, “So do you want me to quit?” I didn’t even know what to think about this outburst, and then a guy or her boyfriend, who I don’t think even works there but was behind the counter, started yelling and insulting us and telling us to leave. She put her hand on his stomach to calm him down. We started getting scared. At this point, another worker, who said she was new there, stepped in and said she was sorry we witnessed that and said we should not have been treated this way. She immediately began making our ice creams—but it was too late. My daughter was upset for hours afterwards. I don’t ever leave reviews, but this was a fairly traumatic experience, when all we wanted was ice cream. Truly ridiculous and frightening. It made us very...
Read moreI visited ColdStone Creamery approximately an hour before closing time and was met with appalling customer service. Upon entering, I was completely ignored by the staff, who were engrossed in personal conversations and preparing orders for DoorDash customers.
Despite waiting patiently for five minutes, I was still not acknowledged or greeted. Meanwhile, the workers seemed more focused on discussing personal matters rather than attending to customers.
To my dismay, two DoorDash Dashers were promptly greeted upon entering, highlighting the stark contrast in treatment between delivery drivers and in-store customers.
I had to assertively draw attention to myself to finally have my order taken, as the staff continued to neglect my presence. Even when the shift leader emerged, her response was dismissive and confrontational rather than addressing the evident disregard for customer service standards.
As I left the store, the staff's laughter only added insult to injury, emphasizing their lack of professionalism and respect for customers.
This level of customer service is unacceptable, and it's disheartening that such behavior is tolerated within the company. I will be leaving a one-star review to reflect my...
Read moreWent in around 9pm on a Friday 05/12/13 and the hours said the building closes at 10pm. Walked into the building and there were about 3 other people waiting for their orders. Stood there and 3 employees just stared at me and did not say a word. One girl just looked me up and down with a disgusted look. About 5mins of waiting I was finally asked by the other girl what I was going to order and she stated she was unsure if they had milk to make 2 shakes. I also had ordered 2 smoothies. The same girl told me it would take a minute to get my order done since she had to wash some dishes and walked off while huffing and puffing because she had to make my order. Once the order was up my husband went up to pay and the same girl told him she could only pour half of his smoothie in a regular size cup due to not having ice. Instead of charging him for a small size he still had to pay for the regular. This is very disappointing how these employees are not taught about great customer service and it seems everywhere you go you see more of these young men and ladies with attitude making a bad name for...
