Luxury Nail — Local services in Tucson

I leave 1 star because I can't leave anything lower. The lady that did my nails didn't cure them proper, and not even 30 minutes after leaving the salon - the glitter polish she put on is smearing off!! Not only this, I wanted pearls on my nails and asked for a design, she said they don't have pearls and the only thing they did have, it wasn't what I was going for. I even showed her a photo of my nails done at another salon with the pearls and glitter coffin nails. She STILL charged me for the design price even though it is NOT a design!! I even told her this but she kept on saying it was a design "because of the glitter". She kept the pay Square machine in her phone and just stared at me, refusing to change the pricing to the normal acrylics pricing. I shouldn't have tipped her $15 but I did anyways and I seriously regret now that my nails are smearing!! This was supposed to be for my birthday party this coming Saturday, never coming here ever again!! The quality isn't good with the lines of the tip being muddy and not a clean line. Awful. Never again!! She also got a call for someone booking an appointment for 4 PM. Right after that she kept on rushing the nail job and when the lady comes SUPER early like around 3:27 PM, the nail technician was rushing even more!! My appointment was for 3 PM and I came at 2:48 PM. She also said they were fully booked for today but when I saw her appointment listing notebook, there was nothing!! She told me they are always getting appointments and when my sister called them before I did and said that they didn't have time for her normal painted nails, I called saying I wanted an acrylic nail design and ALL OF A SUDDEN they have a bunch of availability!! They lied to my sister because she wanted a lower priced nails job!! And when I got there the only person there was an older gentleman getting his feet and nails done! That's awful! Adding to my excellent review from 1 mo ago. ( Google doesn't let you review a place twice, no really)... Bihn offers the best pedicure in Tucson, and the best I've really ever had... Refuse to go to anyone else.... She takes her time, she is detail oriented and thorough....she has a detailed process and protocol...quite a professional...she books up fast, best to go on a weekday afternoon...and please be generous w a gratuity if you are a happy customer. I'm used to having good relationships with Nail Techs, but this one is different. I attempted to be friendly, but Cindy didn’t seem to receive me well. I don't know, just know I didn't feel well received. The first visit was welcoming, but after 2 days my polish was coming off of several nails. Upon return, Cindy was distant, wouldn’t even look at me nor did she discuss with me, my concerns. She polished my nails, but didn’t give me the design I had previously paid for. I wasn’t feeling so good so I just decided not to complain and left. Guess what! The polish was coming off again, 2 days later! Well, I’d already decided I wouldn’t return after she wouldn’t even look at me. I’ve since found another place. Cindy lost a good customer in me because I’m always on time, I’ll stick with you and I tip well. Good customer service and good work, makes for longevity...
