Read moreI have worked out and competed all my life. The minute I first trained with Matt Carroll I knew he was the Personal Trainer for me. He is one of the best. I have been training with him for 4 years.
First, he listens to his clients. I can't tell you how many times I have talked about something I am trying to accomplish physically, and how each time, he finds a way to incorporate my goals into that same session!
Second, he is very knowledgable. He monitors your technique while providing just the right amount of motivation to your workout. He has a great understanding of what is needed to help you move towards your goals.
Third, he is a great resource for injury prevention or rehabilitation of a previous injury. My brother was experiencing serious back pain that didn't respond to other therapies and he didn't want surgery. Matt noticed that he had very tight leg muscles and then led him through some suggested stretches and exercises. My brother has used this routine regularly and his back pain is now nonexistent.

I’ve been seeing Matt consistently for close to four years, and I’ve definitely seen improvement in strength, health, stamina, and body contour! He is extremely knowledgeable about all things fitness, and I’m always amazed at how he remembers just where I was last week, where I need to go this week, and whatever special needs I may have. I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis, and I’m happy to say that I’ve seen an increase in my bone density under Matt’s guidance.
Although I’m obviously considerably older than Matt, it truly feels as if he’s an “old soul,” easy to relate to and someone who is always interesting and fun to be around.
