Tacos y Mariscos Jaliscos — Restaurant in Tucson

This is a small fast food restaurant (6 tables & 4 stools at the counter. The pic I took was from the wall at the corner table.) There are also tables on the patio facing Swan (it was extremely hot & they did not have misters.) it’s a clean, quiet & cozy restaurant. However, I would classify it more like a fusion type food restaurant. Although the employees bring your order to your table, you have order & pay at the counter.

I ordered the taco salad with carne asada. It was delicious until I ate all the lettuce! Underneath the lettuce was tons of rice & beans. I did not expect that.

This store is my favorite taco restaurant in the town. The quality of the food here are exceptional and the options are countless since they let their customers customize meat in tacos and burritos (Fish, Octopus, and Cabeza tacos are my favorite). The owner is super nice, and he always did great services. Unlike most Mexican restaurants in Tucson, the use ceramic plate for the foods, which is very environmentally friendly, and improve the visual effect to the next level. They are too busy to answer the phone. Their food is good to go. There isn't a lot of room in the dining area with a serve yourself salsa and jalapeños bar. Picked up a couple Carne asada tacos today for taco Tuesday ♡ I got them to go . I packed up Pico de gallo, red hotsauce and green hot sauce, a jalapeño pepper and some cilantro mixed with onions. It was already busy at 11am. The restaurant is small but the food looks really good as there were families with lots of interesting looking dishes.
