I’ve only posted a couple reviews for stores but this deserves to be said: I’ve lived in this neighborhood most of my life, when it was only a few stores here. And today was the most uncomfortable experience I’ve ever had at any store in my life. When I go to target I don’t dress to impress as I literally live right across from the location and it’s a 5 minute walk. I’ve been coming to this location for over two decades. And this target is the worst target in the world. As I said I don’t dress like I’m going to an upscale store, because it’s target. And for the past year I’ve noticed that nearly every time I go, I feel like I’m being watched. At first I always thought it was just in my head but after what I just experienced I know my gut was right. I went here after getting a new battery at Batteries plus (great store great staff btw) and I was getting a gift for my dad and a couple groceries. As I was looking at the electronics trying to decide this employee asks me if I needed help so I asked him a question about the product and he answered and I said “ok thank you”, but he paused and looked at me for a couple seconds and then walked away. I got the electronic and paid at the cashier right there. But at this point my gut was telling me that I was being watched. I then made my way to the grocery section and got a couple items. But as I was looking at the teas this employee who was getting a mobile order kept looking at me. Two different times I caught him looking around the corner at me. He wasn’t very good at being sneaky btw. So I got my tea and other grocery items and walked to the front to pay but Jesus Christ almost every employee I walked by was just looking at me like I was doing something wrong. I get to the register and was paying for my items and I needed to get change too, the cashier was cold and was standing like she was idk, idk what the word is but I was getting the feeling that she was on her guard. So I got my change, paid and left. As I started walking away and going to the road the spectrum security guard was parked at a stop sign and staring at me while she was on the phone and watched as I turned the corner and left. There has been countless experiences just like this for the past year for me. I hate to say it but this feels like I’m being profiled for how I look. I’m eyed with suspicion like I’m about to steal or do something shady and they’re just watching my every move waiting. It’s very stressful. And I’ve seen that others have left reviews saying similar things. I know this plaza is a poop hole because of all the homeless drug addicts who steal and do who knows what else. But what exactly makes someone suspicious? I come here every other week and I’m definitely no criminal. I’ve done nothing to warrant this treatment; I’m a longtime customer of this location. And this location isn’t exactly comparable to the ina or oro valley location, not by a long shot. This location speaks for itself when you go inside, which speaks volumes if you’ve ever been. Bottom line, this is wrong. I’ve seen other ppl show up here in their pajamas and they’re not followed. I should add that I’m Native American and I’m not exactly not the best looking guy around, and that’s being nice about it. I dress how I want to dress, I’m Not trying to appease anyone. Idk this feels very uncomfortable, I have social anxiety and am diagnosed PTSD. It feels like a certain demographic of ppl get a normal and even pleasant shopping experience and other demographics get profiled. I would drop it altogether but I feel this should be brought up to someone so that other paying customers that fit their criteria for profiling don’t suffer the same purposeful discrimination that I and others have. I wish I could give an update somewhere because I am going to contact...
Read moreI’ve shopped at Target for many years, and I’ve never had an issue before. However, I purchased a collector box of Pokémon cards from the Irvington store. When I went home and opened it, none of the items were inside. It was just a bunch of old baseball and Yugioh cards that were taped inside with blue duct tape. Reached out to the store manager and customer service and they refused to refund me or give me a replacement. Was told that the cards are through a vendor and it’s beyond their control. They did give me the number for guest relations and when I called them, I was told the same thing. From there, they gave me the manufacturer’s contact info, but when I contacted the manufacturer, they said they could not help me either. In the end, I lost 130 dollars and it was not my fault. It’s a real shame that the store doesn’t know for certain if items contain what they should. I reached out to the BBB regarding this matter and hopefully I get refunded one way or another. As a consumer, this is absolutely unacceptable. Shame...

I had other items to pick up so I went to pick those items and returned to customer service ice 15 min later and the same person was still being helped as befor. Now there were 3 people in line. I decided to check out the other items I needed. There were at least 6 people in line at the regester (the only one open) so went over to the self check out line ware there ware8 or 9 peoplle there also. When I got to the register it was now working, I turned and requested help but the employee was too busy on their phone to help. After asking 3 times without any reaction from the employee I Yelled to her for help. She responded by saying Hit the cancel button. I did 6 or 7 times to no avail. I called to her again, she muttered something g I will not post! She then comes over and tries 4 times to clear the register befor it started working properly. So now ask your self why they are going out...
