It sucks that I even have to write this but I don’t think the owner should be allowed to think he can treat people the way he treated us. My friend and I love this shop, specifically Mikayla & Samara, we’ve attended several of their Friday the 13th events and make it a point to even request time off work to go to the events. This recent Friday the 13th my friend and I did just that. We got there when they opened, picked the tattoos we wanted and politely asked if we could wait for Samara and Mikayla to tattoo us, the person checking us in just so happened to be the owner, He very rudely said “no we aren’t doing that this year we are going in rotation so Mitsy would be tattooing you” & I said “this is going to be on my body for life is there any way I can at least see her work?” He literally rolled his eyes at me! He said “well I’m the owner and it seems like you should just make an appointment with who u want, I trust Mitsy can do it, any one here can” I politely asked one more time if I could see her work & he finally said yes. I wasn’t a fan of her work thus decided against getting a tattoo that day, & so did my friend. You guys have to understand there was literally no line, no one behind us so I really didn’t see the issue in us waiting for Mikayla & Samara to finish who they were working on. Idk if he has some sort of power trip but surely this “owner” has no sense of customer service. It’s one thing to enforce your rules but another to be a complete jerk, especially to people who are loyal clients and look forward to your events. The last Friday the 13th for Valentine’s Day they let us wait for Mikayla and Samara, and we waited for over an hour just for them to tell us “they are actually done for the night” Samara ended up taking my friend but Mikayla said I could make an appointment and she’d honor the flash price since we had waited over an hour. Perfect example of a shitty situation but she accommodated me, that’s why I go back, she was nice enough to understand I’m just a fan of her work. When it comes to something going on my body for life I want quality work and that’s what she provides. As a shop owner I’d be flattered by this but to act that way is not okay. We left that day super bummed, not just by the fact that we didn’t get tattood but simply because of his terrible attitude.
