NEVER EVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.........3/21/2020 I purchased an Apple Mac Pro from Electronic Express in Tullahoma, TN , brand new or so I was told. I also purchased a warranty for $229.00 because all I had to do was bring the product back to the store to exchange. ALL LIES!!!! So I didn't use the computer much in the first few months because this is my first apple computer and I have to goggle everything to do anything on this computer. I soon notice that I always have to leave the computer plugged in to use it. It will not even power on without being plugged in. It turns out my 3 month old computer needs a battery replacement....WHAT? So I call the store and they encouraged me to call apple instead of using that $229.00 hassle free warranty they sold me. So I called apple and they found 2 error codes on this computer. They wanted me to mail my computer to them. That was a NO!! So I went to the store and it has been an emailing game ever since. WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT HASSLE FREE WARRANTY, JUST BRING IT IN THE STORE. They had to start a claim by email. I waited a few days and no-one bothered to call me. I was told that I had to go through apple. So there is no apple store near me. I booked an appointment online. I drove an hour and half one way for that appointment only to find out that my NEW COMPUTER WAS REFURBISHED!! KEEP IN MIND I PAID FOR A NEW COMPUTER!!! I ALSO LEARNED THIS WAS A 2018 MODEL SO THERE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A 1 YEAR MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY ANYWAY. So I drove 3 hours round trip for apple to tell me they could not help me, unless I wanted to pay for it. The apple rep said this happens with Electronic Express all the time. Matter of fact, same thing happened last week. I called Dylan at Electronic Express in Tullahoma, TN and put the apple representative on the phone with him to tell him they sold me a refurbished computer as NEW. Again Electronic Express wants to play the email game. So I drive from Huntsville, AL straight to Tullahoma, TN. Dylan has not heard anything. He showed me the email and called a district manager only to tell him to call the rep that purchases these computers. AGAIN WHY ARE WE NOT TAKING CARE OF THIS RIGHT NOW, I PAID FOR A WARRANTY. GIVE ME A NEW COMPUTER. Dylan said he would jeopardize his job and could not authorize the exchange. He was very clear in saying this was a great warranty program. It's great for Electronic Express but not the customer. I have requested a full refund of my warranty and computer. I do not even want another one from them. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANY PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN---LIARS! So I sit here with a laptop that is USED, NOT NEW for $1399.00 and $229.00 warranty that I have not been able to use. It's amazing to me that they are selling these warranties but not honoring them. The reports to the BBB on this company are crazy. How are they getting away with this. This is lying...
Read moreI know what to expect from an electronics express... I never make an electronics purchase without serious research. We decided on a Bluetooth car audio receiver for our daughters car. I went into the store to purchase the unit and waited over 15 minutes while checking out the display units. Not a single sole came to help me.... an employee walked up with a father and son , their conversation included crude jokes and cussing.... but he promptly went and retrieved their car stereo..... I waited a few more minutes..... no one still.... So I left, I went home and purchased the stereo online. I think made an appointment that same night, for installation. ( it's a small town and options are zero... my husband is more than capable of installing the unit, he's a licensed electrician with certifications in home audio and car audio installation... but no time and we wanted this done quickly as it was a gift) our appointment day comes , the appointment was for 3:30 , I called at 12 and asked if we could go ahead and drop the car off since we had some plans... I was told "yea, bring it we can get started on it".. we drive to the store, I pay 266$ for the installation and wire harness, they let me know they do not have the wire harness to allow her to keep her steering wheel controls, I think on it and opt to continue without the steering wheel controls, we go to our plans. At 6:30 I call to check on the status as we are coming back through town. The gentleman who answered was rude and told me " well going off what I heard , it's done" I asked if he could please find out for sure. He puts me on hold and then the installer came on the line. He says "oh yea it's done but I have to tell you, the rear entertainment system doesn't work anymore" ( it was working just fine when we brought it in ) after a conversation about why weren't we asked if the work should proceed or not , I was told " well I just figured you would want the stereo to work" my husband and I went to pick up our daughters car, by then they found the missing piece in Clarksville. But between the rude comments , the non working rear DVD system... we asked for a refund for labor so we could go elsewhere to have it repaired.
Bottom line the employees are rude, not very knowledgeable and about 6 of them walked off the floor to stand around and watch my husband and I talk to the manager about all of this ( as an example of their immaturity) I wouldn't shop at this location again if it...
Read moreLet me start with a positive. This store has a fairly good selection of products and is clean and organized.
Now, as far as my experience went, I was really let down by the customer service and did not feel valued as a customer.
I recently bought a 24" TV to use on my desk for gaming and computing.
The product is good, but don't be fooled by the misleading sign information which listed the tv as having 1 Component input, 1 Composite input, and 2 HDMI. While it does have the 2 HDMI, the Component and Composite are a shared port so you cannot have two devices plugged in as you may think.
There was not a floor display of this model and when I returned later after discovering the discrepancy, the sales associate I was working with (weird guy with funny looking mustache, who mumbled when he talked and was difficult to hear) did not apologize or empathize, but rather tried to sell me on another piece of equipment. This attitude made me feel less valued as a customer and more so as a way to pad this guy's commission check. In fact, he was not willing to admit there was anything wrong with the signage until I asked him, "Do you understand why this would be confusing to customers, especially without a floor display?"
This store has a great potential to be a "Go-To" store for electronics needs, especially in the area it's located in, but will always suffer as long as the sales staff continues to focus on sales instead of providing quality...
