China Wok Tullahoma — Restaurant in Tullahoma

My first time in tonight and was uncertain how the seating worked... I asked a young woman at the counter if there was table service as opposed to counter order and she said no... So.. I ordered from a menu sheet at the counter... Pepper steak with fried rice and added two egg rolls... I asked If I could sit anywhere as I saw the tables were numbered and was told to sit on the bench across from the counter... I imagined that I was to get my food at the counter and take it to a table... I had told this person that I was dinning in... Before I got to the bench this person said to me, "You can go over to the Mexican and have a drink while you wait.. it will be a while before your food is ready"... I said that I did not want to do that... I then noticed that a waitress was serving people at a table... So.. I went back to the counter to remind that I was dinning in.. thinking the woman had misunderstood and though my order was a take-a-way... Another young woman (friendly and helpful) told me to have a seat at a certain table and brought out my food...

The food was good (egg rolls over cooked) and really hot...

Warning - The egg rolls are very hot...

I would go back now that I know how their system works...

Not a huge selection, but what's there is very good Edit 03/08/23: Now a sit down restaurant. Normally good food and service. We had a four top, everyone's food came with at least a 5 minute delay between plates. My daughters food never arrived. When asking about the delay and why other tables received their food when they arrived after we had placed our order, we were blatantly lied to and told "when the order comes in late, that's what to expect ". Sorry, but when the order for the entire table is taken at once, nothing is ordered late. Liars........ In response to the owners reply, the sesame chicken was the first entree of the four ordered, the appetizers, one of which came out wrong, were also ordered at the same time. Tell me, how when everything ordered is written on the same ticket does a dish go in late? Also, that dish never made it out of the kitchen. YOU told you waitress to go back into the kitchen and cancel it. Again LIAR.....

3/26/23 update, after returning this evening I will have to say that my last visit may have been a one off. Food arrived hot and good, service was top notch. They have regained my trust, for awhile anyway, only the...

Ordered the food to go. Ordered beef and broccoli and was given pork and broccoli. The egg rolls were burnt. The General Tso’s chicken taste and looked like the leftovers from the buffet. The restaurant forgot part of my order I called them back and told them I was missing part of the order and explained to them that they tried to give me something other than beef for my dish. I told them I would be more than happy to return the food if they wished to refund my money. They stat d that they do not do refunds and I said that was fine I will no longer be eat at this establishment and hung up. The restaurant then contacted me back stating that I was wrong that is was beef and want d to argue over the issue. I stated my complaints again and said that if they were not going to r fund my money we don’t need to have this conversation again. I disconnected the call. All this time I spent on the phone with the restaurant I was not angry or yelling they just wanted to argue with me. That being said if I could only rate the food alone it would...
