Employees don't seem to have a sense of urgency whatsoever. The wait in line is always a minimum of 20 minutes, no matter what. This could be considerably reduced, but the employees seem to care much more about talking and "keeping it chill" than showing that the customers time is valued. In addition, I was in the store the other day to retrieve a pawned ps4. I was on my lunch break and have been waiting in line for 20 minutes without a single customer transaction being finished. Obviously iw was a little upset and impatient at this time, so I asked if someone else can help jump on the counter. The manager heard this, but said and did nothing, while one of the employees (tall/young black man) behind the counter rudely answered that they do not have any other people working that can help and he'll be with me momentarily and he'll make sure to put a smile on my face. I guess my question upset him because another 20 minutes later, I was finally at the front of the line and when he went to the back to grab my ps4, he didn't return for almost 5 minutes. This struck me as odd, so I checked the package before leaving and I noticed the power cable wasn't in it. I go back up there and jump to the front of the line. The same guy that took out the cable in order to cause problems, already had my cable waiting for me at the counter, but refused to give it to me and asked me to get in line. I told him I will not get back in line because he purposefully did this to "get back at me for criticizing their work ethic". After I said that, he shook his head in disgust with me, handed me the cable (which took all of 3 seconds) and told me to leave. This will be the last time I come in. There is no sense of urgency, no respect for customers, the manager didn't seem to care either and it's unacceptable that an employee would purposefully try to cause a customer problems, just because I voiced a concern. Lastly, I was 30 min late to work because of this completely unacceptable, rude and unprofessional behavior. These employees should be ashamed of themselves for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have shopped at this store for years, have bought and pawned things Nemerous times, i have had a excellent pickup rate and was treated like a valued customer until recently when they seem to have hired a lot of hispanic people. I get it thoigh, its the demographic location of that store. But my problem is that when i go in to have a loan rewritten now for the same thing that has been loaned on and rewritten at least 10 times i was denied because the employee who didnt know me said he couldnt loan on the item because of a cosmetic defect. It had no bearing on tbe product working as it worked perfectly. The defect had been there since the first time i got a loan on it, and guess what? I have gotten it out everytime. Now what upsets me as i called the manager Tiffany as she is the only one who is left at that location who knows me, my loan history, my pick up rate and i thought she valued my business. Explained to her i was bringing my rewrite up there today and she said sure. When i get there she greets me and hands me off to another employee to qualify the loan as she was busy i guess. The new employee who doesnt know me from adam says he cant take it because of previously said cosmetic defect. Now just before i was taken care there was a hispanic woman pleading with an employee to take her item that he had refused because of some missing parts. Well, he eneded up caving to her demands and writing her a loan. So im trying to figure out if my $300 item which i have gotten a loan on it at least 10 times that is in perfect working order and has been redeemed wvery single time was less appealing than a $25 item that was missing parts that more than likely will never be picked up. Was it because she was hispanic and i wasnt? I will never know. But i do know this, i have 3 things in loan i will be getting out soon, and when i do, i will never shop there again. Im gonna share my experience with everyone i know to save...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a brand new laptop that I got a loan on at this place and made my payment right before the crisis hit in March. I did not think that pawn shops were essential businesses and did not know this place was even open. When they started gradually opening SOME businesses last week I thought about my laptop that was there. I went there to get my laptop and they had sold it. The manager Cory said, ā you should have made your payment or calledā. How was I to know that they were even open as an essential business? And when businesses started opening up I did call! There was nothing on the news that pawn shops would be open. And we are going through a crisis trying to figure out how we are going to live day to day. That was the least thing on my mind at the time. They didnāt even have the heart to at least contact the ones that THEY KNEW were about to loose their stuff. Maybe the customers didnāt know they were open, maybe because of all the madness they should have tried to reach out to those customers as a courtesy consideration the horrible circumstances. But they donāt not care about their customers. I do not go to pawn shops at all. And only got a loan on my laptop because I was in desperate need at the time. This was a laptop that my kid needed for college and I planned on giving to her. This place and the people that run it are terrible people and do not care. Had this been a normal circumstance I would understand but it wasnāt. I will be taking them to court behind this! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! ALL BUSINESS IS NOT...
