Very upset! I came in today to return some items and look around for something else. It takes me forever sometimes just looking or I'll see something and remember something else, or can't make up my mind, regardless I like to take my time and should be able to take as long as I want during store hours without being made to feel uncomfortable. Well I didn't realize that apparently you must have a time limit or a rule about how I am supposed to act while looking before I get profiled as a potential thief. Because your employees started following me around after a little bit, watching me like I was going to do something wrong. Nobody asked me if I need help with anything instead they proceeded to be on every aisle and around every corner. I even purposely sat some stuff I had down in the wrong place to see what would happen and immediately an employee came to see what it was and put it up. I have never felt so uncomfortable, felt rushed, made to feel like I was doing something wrong, or as embarrassed as you all made me feel today. I don't appreciate it and don't see how my shopping habits led you to believe in anyway that I needed to be watched. That's an awful way to make "a former customer" feel. I'll never go back and I hope y'all see this so next time you hopefully know to just ask if someone needs help and not assume the worst and make anyone else feel like y'all...
Read moreI used to be a frequent shopper at this store. This store specifically because I live close and I walk (mostly) everywhere I go making this Michael's extremely convenient. But the last few trips in, I don't know if I am not dressed to their liking, or if because I carry a small shoulder bag around my neck (no bigger than an average size purse). But I cannot even browse through the store before I decide on which items I would like to spend my (hard-earned) money on before I am stalked through the isles as if I am a common thief. Not only do I have to repeat myself once but multiple times to multiple employees that the cannot help me that I am merely looking. Because honestly I can almost guarantee that my knowledge of Art supplies that I use and purchase I know enough that there isn't another human being able to give me anymore basic information about the items in that store that would have even the slightest impact on my decision of what I would end up deciding on if I let everyone on their roster give me their input. So instead of buying my usual items anymore and be treated like I'm buying a used car. All of my purchases have been rerouted to their competitors or i order online. Very unprofessional and unnecessary Michael's...
Read moreDON'T get me wrong,I love Micheal's.however in the past year the service has gotten bad.the people are lazy.nevertheless this is the situation that really has me angry. I was at one Micheal's,41St the item I wanted was not there so I asked the manager lady if she mind, looking it up to see if there were any at the other stores I'd be willing to make the drive if they indeed had the item(s) well at first she didn't make the effort, then I found an item like the item I was in search for, just a different color.so then she was willing.the 71St store said that they had the items two of them and had them on hold for me.so I hurried over to retrieve the last two that they supposedly had.when I got there the manager was just going to look and I found one of the two that they said they had that I drove all the way over there for. Needless to say I'm pist and they didn't make any more effort for the other one that I needed. So waste of gas and time, that could have been eliminated had they went and looked in the first place, and if they did their jobs correctly and had inventory numbers correct, and if they would have just maybe said I am busy and cannot look for the item right now.SIMPLE COMMUNICATION CAN...
