Never consign with this store! Take your home items to Mustard Seed! Round the house creates every possible way to keep your money. I consigned chairs with them and when I called to check on the sale of these chairs, I was told they were on layaway. I have no idea how long layaway is but I decided to wait 2-3 months to check back. I just stopped in the store to see if the sell had been complete and I could be paid. I was told the chairs did sell but since it had been over 120 days, I could no longer receive payment. There is no logical reason for this 120 day rule aside from creating opportunity to not reimburse the consignor. If they truly wanted to make sure their consignors were taken care of and received payment for consigned items, they would mail out checks each month for the money on the consignors’ accounts. This is the 21st century that could be automated. It’s clear ‘Round the House has purposefully created rules that increase the likelihood of keeping...

So far I've had a great experience with Round the House. I'm moving across country, so dropped off a couple of boxes of dinnerware and kitchenware that wouldn't fit in my care.

The workers were extremely nice and very helpful, and since I'm donating anything that doesn't sell, all I had to do was drop off the boxes and sign a couple of forms. So far the process has been painless, but I will update this review as it goes on.

I also loved the atmosphere of the shop. It reminded me of a cross between a thrift store and my grandma's house. Probably not for everyone, but if you love antiquing or thrift store shopping, this place is wonderful. It made me wish I were staying in town so I could buy things from...

I contacted them about a bookshelf on Facebook and sent a picture of the bookshelf I was asking about. I was told it was $799. The owner then went back and stated that it was the wrong bookshelf and wouldn’t honor the price she told me. Rather than HER eat HER mistake, she lost a customer and hopefully more in the future. Had she paid attention in the beginning, this would have never happened. She was rather rude on the phone to me and when she was told that all of my conversations were recorded, she hung up on me, then blocked me on Facebook. lol.
