Burger Street — Restaurant in Tulsa

When ordering, I specifically said (became I have the pickiest teen in the world!) I wanted a bacon burger with lettuce only, no condiments, just bun, burger patty, bacon, and lettuce and a sweet tea no ice. The server says, "You want it plain?", so I repeated my request again, verbatim (since this is something we have to do every time we eat out), and she says ok. I finished ordering my food and drove up to the window, paid, and waited. From previous experience, I always check before driving off, and I'm glad I did. The tea had ice in it, and the burger didn't have any lettuce on it. So I had to get her attention to inform her it was incorrect. The server proceeded to argue with me, stating that o asked for a plain bacon burger and never said I didn't want ice. I calmly replied that SHE said plain, and I repeated the order to her. I have an extremely picky eater at home and this is a regular thing for us. So I know exactly what I ordered, because his request never changes. She then started speaking in Spanish to her other coworkers about what was going on, which isn't an issue under normal circumstances. But I found it disrespectful that it was done when discussing a customer (she gestured her head towards me when talking with her coworkers, which made me feel like she was talking about me). After a brief conversation with her coworkers, she then proceeded to correct my order and said she's a picky eater as well, so she understands. This Burger Street is awesome. I've been here a few times and it's becoming a regular stop while traveling through the area. The traffic construction on the road out front makes it a little dicey to get into and out of, but it's worth it. I went through the drive through yesterday with my wife and daughter. The window attendant was articulate and repeated our order at the ordering radio, and at the pickup window. It's takes several minutes to get an order for 3 completed, but that's when you get fresh food that wasn't made 15 minutes before you placed your order. I usually get the double meat burger. Just from a visual perspective, the sucker was picture perfect. It really was. Could have been a front page for a magazine. Add to that the fact that it was hot and fresh. My husband and I came here for an old fashioned burger! We had not been here in such a long time, it was time for a greasy burger. We knew we had to wait bc they had 4 cars in front of us. With everything is made to order, especially at the time of night that we went. It was maybe an hourish before they closed for the night, if that. Our food was still fresh and the service was even better! We will definitely be back when the weather is a little nicer so we can eat outside on the patio area.
