I have been going to this Sonic for 3 years I work at 46th & Memorial so I do go here frequently. I completely understand at lunch time it is very busy, and I have not experienced very many issues that has made me to the point where I don't even want to go back to this location. Until my last visit April 24th 2025, I place my order in the app (as I always do) it says it will be ready at 12:38, yes this is lunch hour yes it's going to be busy. I waited patiently for 20 minutes, then I pushed the button and I told the person on the other end I was here for a app order, she apologized and said they would be right out with it. 10 minutes later I push the button again and nothing happened, I called the store, when they answered I said I had a mobile order that was supposed to be ready at 12:38, the caller on the other end does not say anything other than "cancel your order"and hung up on me. Well that did not go over too well with me so I called back asked to speak to the manager she said "you're speaking to her" I asked her her name she said "Monnie" and hung up, It was the same lady that told me to cancel the order. So I go to the app to try to cancel the order and I can not find a way to cancel the order or contact anyone through the app so I had to start up a chat, they ask me to provide them with receipt, time, etc all the information they should have. I'm not going to do your job for you I ordered through the app you should be able to see that info. As I was backing out and the lady came out with the food, I am so livid at this point, I'm not sure if they have new workers at this location I know two other ladies that work in the office that I work in has experienced issues in the past 2 weeks at the same location. It's really frustrating that one bad experience can change the way you feel about a place....
Read moreI stopped by today and ordered a meal with the chicken (basically popcorn chicken), tater tots, and a drink, plus a Wag Cup for my dog. To start on a positive note, they did bring out the Wag Cup, which my dog loved.
After that, the experience went downhill. I sat waiting for at least 20 minutes before a girl finally brought my food. She handed me the chicken and tater tots, closed the window, and walked away before I could say anything. I had to wait another five minutes for her to come back so I could tell her that I never got my drink. She did not apologize or say anything, just said “oh” and went to grab it. When she returned, I asked for honey mustard since no dipping sauce was offered.
When I got home, I was even more disappointed. I ordered a large popcorn chicken, but halfway through I realized the bottom half of the container was filled with tater tots instead of chicken. So I basically paid for a large and got a half-order. On top of that, everything was cold even though it took 20 minutes to get it. Additionally, there was not a single napkin in my bad. Luckily my dog didn't make a mess of her treat, but that's just ridiculous.
What makes it worse is that this is the second bad experience I have had at this same location. I actually left a complaint about 10 months ago and had not been back since. The only reason I stopped today was because my dog was dressed up for Halloween, and I wanted to treat her to a Wag Cup for being such a good girl at the pet store. Read moreNormally I get great service, but tonight, the young lady working the drive through a little after midnight forgot part of my order after I had waited in line for literally 25 minutes. Upon pulling around where I could see the drive thru I noticed this young lady would walk to the door and pull her phone out after every customer and while taking care of each customer. There is advertising on the door that makes it difficult to see in, but can easy to see out of. Someone should tell her that people actually can see in. When I came back after realizing she forgot part of it, I went to a stall because the line at the drive thru was very long again. I pushed the button on the intercom and she came on and said "we're only taking orders through the drive thru", and she started walking away. After getting her attention, I explained what was missing, which was a shake. They brought it right out which was great, except it's ice cream and had started to melt. They didn't even make a new one. I could see her through the windows the entire time after coming back.
