Sezchuan Express — Restaurant in Tulsa

Szechuan is one of my most favorite places to eat! I have been going to Szechuan for years and I mean 16 to 17 years! This is some of the most amazing and tasty food that you will ever eat I love their egg rolls I love their fried dumplings I love their Seafood fried rice and my wife always gets the chicken fried rice with broccoli added! It has been probably about 6 months since we have been able to get in to Szechuan and as soon as we walked in the saw us and said welcome it's been a long time come on in! They remembered even what we ordered cuz we always order the same thing there! There is been a few times that we have tried other meals there but it matters not what you choose to eat it will be mind blowing delicious! I cannot say enough good things about Szechuan and the family that works there and the people that take care of you there! For service I give them a five star for friendliness they get a five star for Value they get a five star for the food being tasty hot and fresh they get a five star this is a fantastic wonderful experience if you have not ever tried Szechuan on 51st and Memorial you are cheating yourself a life experience of Excellence if you do not go to Szechuan! When I first came across Szechuan it was obviously about 20 years ago somewhere in there and I just fell in love with the food and the people and I have been going ever since and will continue to go till the end of time! This place used to be good. Had not been there since sometime before covid. Don't plan to ever return. I was served one of the worst meals I have had in my nearly 60 years of life.

Sesame chicken is breaded chicken in sweet and sour sauce without any veggies.

Fried rice is rice that has been browned in oil on a grill. Nothing more. No egg, or carrot, or onion, or...anything.

The chicken chow mein has absolutely no flavor - even though it contains a lot of onion. It takes a special talent to remove flavor from grilled onion. The chow main was served with considerable, mostly unnecessary, liquid. I'm not sure what the "chicken" really was. It certainly didn't have the texture and consistency of chicken meat. It did have the consistency of chicken skin. There was a lot of it and a complete absence of anything resembling chicken meat in my meal.

My dining companion also ordered the chicken chow main and had the same experience. After eating, we both had tummy trouble and diahrrea.

My fortune cookie had no fortune. Ironic, isn't it?

The best description I can offer for that chicken chow main is to say it was tasteless and the "chicken" was nasty.

All the gas station, grocery store deli, and other prepared and packaged food I have eaten is vastly superior to the meal I was served in...

I love the Sezchuan Express i loved going inside to order and see the great employees, but today because of our Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum i had to wait over two Months for them to be allowed to open by Herr SS Oficer Bynum, and today it's drive through only, i feel my wonderful Sezhun Express and their hard workong wonderful employees have been treated really bad their rights have been taken away, and i feel their rights and mine have been redused and this happening in the United States of America today. Just a simple city Mayor has denighed everyone their Constitutional rights, without due process he has hurt the employees of the Sezchuan Express and the owners also. I was so happy today Saturday May 23 2020, that i was able to order food even if i had to get it drive through only to get it, the food was wonderful as it always has beenI really love the Sweet and Hot Soup makes my eyes water but it's so darn great.also i had the super good Moo Goo Gal Pan it is really tasty i loove it. I hope soon something can be done in rgards to our S S Tulsa Mayor and our freedoms will be restored, i hope everyone reading this will remember it when Herr G.T. Bynum is up for election again and...
