Just a "Drive By" visit. I was looking for Animal Aid of Tulsa. Found it, got my information, and left. The other businesses seem to do a lot of business as the parking spaces were fairly full. When I have time I may venture to check out some of their Specialty Shops that do not appear to be tied to large chains. I prefer supporting LOCAL business4s since they do not have the big multi corp conglomerates backing them. Their place in the communities are hard won, hard fought to STAY in business! Cute, little courtyard with a fountain is in the center with a pet supply/vet clinic. They should attract some more vendors maybe by offering some advertising benefits or something because this shopping center could be...
Read moreI don't know when this place was built, but if I had to guess it would be some time between 1975 and 1980 - well before the 1980s conception of "The Mall" became a reality. This place is aging and decrepit and mostly empty except for a handful of businesses, but I think it's awesome. You walk past windows of long forgotten retail businesses that failed years ago ... peering inside you see a reception desk made of glass bricks and the faint outline of lettering on the back wall which reads...
