We took our newly purchased vehicle to get the DVD PLAYER replaced. After they installed a new one we tested it. It did not take DVD'S through the player itself. None of the features such as the usb port or DVD tray. Only the screen on the Dvd player worked that they installed.Jason the owner said he would give us $50 back and order a new DVD player. We then pointed out a round indentation on the back right passenger seat. He first said maybe it was our booster seat. We showed him there is nothing round on the bottom of the booster seat. We made him aware we just bought the vehicle less than a few weeks ago. There was nothing before they did the work. He said he could have our seat replaced but it would not be the same color as our other seats in the row. We said that would not work. So he gave us $150 out of our payment for the DVD player. When we left I called to ask what day he would exchange the broken DVD player. He said he would not exchange it unless we paid him more money. After a few back and forth calls I stated fine I will take it up with the Better business Bureau. I hung up. He quickly called me back and said if I pay $75 he will install a working DVD player. I said I would think about it. A few weeks have passed and I am driving when the DVD player falls down. It is dangling by the wires!! I had to hold it up with my right hand and drive with my left hand to his shop. I was in shock. I honked to get someone's attention because I did not want to let the DVD player go and possibly ruin the wiring. I was by myself and very shaken. Someone comes out and I tell them it fell while I was driving. Jason comes out. He said I was waiting for you to come back and get the new DVD player. He asked if I'd like him to replace it tomorrow and then he said no it will have to be Thursday because he will be busy. I was hoping he would do it on the spot because of having the DVD player fall was not my fault as well as the DVD player was not working properly. Then he looks at the dvd player that his worker had already disconnected the wires and removed it from the vehicle. He starts to yell at me where are the 2 screws that are missing? I tell him I have no clue to look on the floor. It fell when I was driving. So he starts to say well you know we didn't do the previous indentation to the leather right? He looks again at the booster seat and turns it over. He clearly sees it does not have any circular markings on the bottom to do any indentation. Nor is there any other indintations from the booster seat on any of my other seats. I said I most definitely do know you guys made the indintation the day of installation. So he continues to say that I myself took out the screws to the DVD player and I am a sacmmer! I was upset and said No way! Why would I take out the screws? How would I take out the screws? Why would I do that if you had already agreed to replace it? He continously yells at me. Never once does he look under the seats for the screws. I start crying. I looked under the seats I found one screw. His worker says to him they must have used screws that were too short and were placed in the same wholes that were there for the prior DVD player. Then Jason offered my remaining money i originally payed. Saying he wants to save the headache of dealing with a professional scammer as myself. He took back the broken DVD player and continued to yell belittling me. His potential customer apologized for the rudeness of Jason and took his business elsewhere. As well as his employee apologized for how Jason acted. His costumer service, professional work done to my vehicle and his actions were below any human standards.
