Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Turlock

I’ll make this short, To the clueless and oblivious lady taking orders at the drive thru who asked her Manager …”what are those people doing at the counter..”…

“People”, as in customers such as myself wait at the counter to, I don’t know…

order food??? What else do people do at the counter? Oh ya, wait for their food and pick up their food to take it back to their table…. What else??

Um, ask for napkins, spoons , straws, more sauce packets maybe??? An endless amount of reasons why “people” wait at the counter but seems like your CLUELESS to know why, or even ask US customers to help us or even greet us kinda like you do when you “greet a new drive thru order” which you did multiple times as I was waiting there…

The edacity to call us “people” when we’re customers and you working at a fast food place not knowing why we’re at the counter blows my mind…. I expect this from a teenager which usually most are working at fast food places but this lady was well over the age and I’m sure she has long experience, and couldn’t even help the lady that was working the counter? Not even ask what we needed or a “well be right with you?”

Sadly, I didn’t save the receipt to write a feedback on the date and time, but was 4/10/24 at 12:45…. Also, some of us who walk in, DO own cars, and choose not to drive thru, and when we walk into a restaurant, it’s usually to order food the traditional way and eat/dine indoors to take a break from our day. Seems like she is ignorant at the fact of people being inside the building while she’s asking her co worker, “what the people at the counter are doing/want” lol

When the I guess “counter lady” did help me, she did say she’ll be right with me so that was ok with me, acknowledgement is key, so she did and I’m not complaining, I got my delicious Oreo shakes. I told the manager if their short staffed and she said yes and I did say “if it wasn’t for these shakes. I would have left long ago.” But the older lady of white working the drive thru needs to change duties with the lady making the fries, because the lady making the fries was working hard it looked like. I get it, short staffed in fast food places but people need to step up their duties because drive thru lady could easily take walk up orders and what is it called that my employees do….. “multi task?” That’s it multitask…….

So make that nonchalant-carefree-not knowing why us “people” are there-drive thru “person” make the fries…and make that hard working lady take the drive thru orders from now on… and I don’t want a Jack in Box response to contact whoever about whatever, how about read all these negative reviews and actually do something.

So I am a creature of habit but sometimes i can be picky bout things i like and i always order from jack n the box the bacon cheddar potato wedges except i substitute the wedges for curly fries. Ok so at every jitB i order it the same everytime i say can i please get bacon cheddar curly fries. And it never fails the person taking the order always pauses then say um well we have becan cheddar potato wedges is that wat u ment u wanted and everytime i have to explain it womansplain to them step by step how to construct what i perfectly well said bacon cheddar curly fries. Anyways this is the 1st time i didnt get that response all that was said was will that complete your order it was awsome finally a competant person who wrks here yay. Right on JitB drive through...

For the past 3 years I've ordered take out from the drive up window approximately 75 times, I believe I'm up to 3 orders that were correct. Wrong French fries, orders mixed up in bags, sour dough bread not toasted, missing drinks, no napkins, wrong style of chicken on salad, old dark salad, explain order exactly to employee on speaker but I can only remember once where I didn't have to repeat myself, food is 4 star but service at drive up window sucks in my opinion so to purchase a reasonable affordable 4 star meal I'm always guaranteed my blood pressure will be elevated, my temperament will be tested and as I drive off i'm almost positive I will be upset because l know my order will be...
