Karalin was AMAZING! I reached out as she was referred for alterations by my Bridal Boutique - Mira's Bridal (& now I know why she came highly recommended) & she got back to within the same hour. Super quick turnaround compared to the others I reached out to especially since it was a Saturday.

After our initial call, we set a date for me to bring my wedding dress in & she is very flexible when it comes to scheduling so that was a plus since I am located in Modesto.

When I arrived for my appointment, she was so sweet & took her time to walk me through all her recommendations and just let me know exactly what she was going to do with my dress. She was transparent about extra labor needed due to my dress being beaded so it would have to be done by hand instead of a sewing machine. She was upfront about the cost as well, she wanted to make sure we were aligned before continuing which I appreciated. I am a sweaty-betty so I brought my own mini-fan to use during my fitting but Karalin saved the day with these neck-fans that I was able to use so I didn't have to hold anything in my hand during my appointment. Talk about prepped for anything! She's great!

My appointment was August 21 and she gave me an estimate to have my dress ready by October 1 to give me some time to perfect anything before my October 25 wedding date. So it was an awesome surprise when she reached out to me on August 31 stating that my dress was ready for fitting & pick-up. Talk about underpromising and overdelivering!

When I went for my fitting and to pick up my dress, I wanted to record how to bustle my dress & Karalin was so sweet, she literally helped with a 15-min recording to provide a walk-through for those who would help me with my bustle on my wedding day. She didn't have to do that but she didn't hesitate when I asked.

Overall, Karalin was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her over and over again to anyone that will listen. She is amazing at what she does & so sweet (I've said that 3x in this review already, I know)

I bought my dress at Mira’s bridal and was automatically told to go to Karalin’s for alterations because they said, “she’s the very best around!”. I also had previous interactions with Karalin as she was the same woman who altered my sister’s dress for her wedding. The way that Karalin makes you feel like she will absolutely take care of all your worries made me feel at ease. My dress was beautiful but I knew it needed work so that I could be complete comfortable and assured that I could last in it all night. Karalin added structure and made my dress for me like a glove. I bought my dress from The Bridal Box in Roseville, but at the last minute, I needed to find a seamstress for alterations. Thankfully, I found Karalin, who was incredibly sweet and accommodating. Although she works by appointment only, she kindly fit me in the very next day.

Karalin was patient, kind, and took her time walking me through every detail of the alterations my dress needed. We agreed on a fair price, and she told me she’d let me know once it was finished. To my surprise, it was ready the very next day!
