Drove here, took me twenty minutes from my house to see their things in person and pick up some things for my new designed yard... Every single thing that I picked up, said fifty percent off forty percent off, or thirty percent off when I got to the checkout, nothing that I had was on sale... I asked the salesgirl, doesn't this mean it's 50% off? No, it excludes that. What about this one? Isn't this forty percent off?It's not that it's the other things that on the counter, but it excludes this.. Seriously kirklands get it together. I'm going home goods. 🙄🫨🧐 Soo, I am updating this to say then after I left this store, I decided to look up the website to see if I was wrong about the items being on sale. The website send the item that I really wanted was on sale.So I ended up going back to this store and talking to a different salesperson about what happened. She looked it up and said that it was not on sale in store, but it might have been online. And ended up giving me the items for the sale price. Though it wasn't a peaceful experience, I was glad that they did give me the items on sale and everything turned out good in the end. Thankyou to Kirklands for turning a experience into a nice one. Worth the drive from Escalon....

I had such a frustrating experience with this store today. I placed my order online, with curbside pick up (I work with seniors, so I am trying to limit my contact with others). Arrived at this store, and no one answered the phone for curbside pick up. I went in and waited at the register for almost 30 minutes while the one (up front) employee helped a customer find 3 items she saw online. I could hear other employees in the back, but none came to the front, even after the line grew to 4 customers. After all this waiting, the lone cashier went to the back to get my online order. After another 6 minutes, two employees came out to tell me one of my two items ordered had sold out before they could pull it from the shelf. I placed my order at 9 a.m. The store opened at noon. I was there to pick up at 1 All in all, it was a waste of my time. Customer service was just terrible. Why offer curbside pick up if no one answers the phone? Why make customers wait, when there are clearly 3 employees in the store? I will go back to online ordering with delivery and avoid this store. They do not offer the courtesy and convenience I look for...

Buyer beware!! I like the store itself, however beware of online ordering from them. I placed an order online (on Memorial Day), decided to go into the store and called the store back and cancelled my online order. The girl I spoke to said she’d send it urgent to corporate so it’s cancelled and not shipped. 2 days later after the store is closed I get an email they’ve shipped it anyways. I called the next day and basically was told once you place it unless you call back immediately it will not be cancelled, even though it was not packaged or shipped yet, now I have to take the item back to the store which is an hour drive. Not happy and won’t order anything online from them again because I’m now out the shipping costs for an item...
