This review is strictly for the salon.

I used to get my haircut done from Jennifer. Ever since she left, my experience at this salon has been terrible. This is over past three weeks of happenings.

Week one: scheduled for a hair cut. This appointment was scheduled almost a week prior. I was late 10 minutes. I called Salon and gave then a heads up. They told me that I can come in and the stylist can see if she can help me. I went and stylist herself was behind. The stylist told me to wait and she will be done in 10 minutes. Waited for 30 and left the store with appt rescheduled for another week with same stylist.

Week 2. Appt scheduled for 2:30. Got a call from salon at 1:30 saying the stylist is not at work today she called in. Appt was then rescheduled for next Sunday November 10th at 2:30

Today: I went to the salon at 2:20. I was greeted by the girls and checked in. It’s 2:40 and no one is acknowledging anything. I ask a staff member and she tells me that she will be here in 5-10 minutes. I waited till 2:45. While leaving, I told the salon girls that I am not going to wait any longer as this is the third time. I was not offered to reschedule and was simply told “okay we will cancel your appt”

I spoke to the manager upfront and was told that my stylist was not even there the whole time and she was at lunch and will be back at 3. They asked me to wait another 10 minutes but I denied and rescheduled. . I mean be upfront with customer and tell them straight up that stylist is on lunch. Why make them wait for 30 minutes lying to them.

I cancelled my next appt and won’t be coming back here again. I miss Jennifer. Never had these issues with her. And out of respect to the stylist who messed up three times, I won’t be sharing her name publically. But I am sure the managers will known who she is and will not talk to her. They honestly don’t care. One person gone, nothing happened to their business after...

I wish I could give a 0 star ... my appointment was at 2:30 but I went there 2:15 and she called me in at 2:55 .. later she did not had the color I wanted soi started selecting different colour n then she says oh its time up I have different app ..was it my fault u called me late I wasted 30 min there n she was also frustrated when I was selecting other colour, how un professional.. worst experience for the first time ... I was very excited when I went in but lot more disappointed when came out ... I was preparing for a big even In my family which was on next day but these guys wasted my time .. come on if u don't want to do ur job In a good way then quit ur job ... I was paying for it so had to select colour instead of what u did not had , I was not asking u to do it for free.. u ruined my event ..her name is Tatiyana , she herself kept me waiting for about 40 min.. it was just 15 min I was discussing the color with her and she Says oh u had appointment at 2:30 .. come on u kept me waiting... on phone when I made appointment she was very nice spoke nicely but when I met her she had her own attitude to show me... ruined my mood my time and even My event ... I had never expected this for ulta I thought they r the best ... but people like Tatiana don't even know how to...

Honestly I love Ulta and I'm only giving a 1 star because of the behavior from one of the stylists. I went in the store for a facial product but overheard a Hairstylist telling a guest that she was styling to never dye her hair red because that shows your age. That only "older" women dye their hair red. She proceeds to say please don't ever do that. This made me feel highly uncomfortable. Because I am a guest at the location listening to someone who works there basically downtalk women. This is Ulta Beauty where any women regardless of age or hair color should be able to come and be accepted. I have red hair and I've had red hair for a very, very, long time which puts me in the older woman category. I felt so uncomfortable that I literally walked further around the store to alleviate walking in front of the stylist, and because of that I do not know who she was or what she looked like. I work in the guest service industry and I know it is important to remain professional at all times. I would highly recommend going over proper etiquette in the work...
