Deli Delicious #28 - Turlock — Restaurant in Turlock

Worst experience ever! We love deli delicious but the one is Turlock CA is horrible I will never be back! First we walk in and it was like walking into a sauna it was so hot....they take our order, we got our food fast but my sandwich was wrong the cashier asked if I wanted jack cheese and I agreed and then they gave me swiss...and on the same sandwich I wanted sprouts instead of lettuce and got neither...I went to ask for a water cup and the worker was almost 4 feet and was playing on her phone with a headphone in her ear and couldn't even pay attention and acknowledge that I was there asking for a water cup over 3 times....the soda machine was nasty... customer service was horrible, food wasn't great, place was not clean. I feel like I might even get food poisoning from being there and trying to eat! Worst, Nasty, and Very disappointed! I would give NO stars if I could! The one on McHenry in Modesto is...

Disappointed! I have eaten many times at several other local Deli Delicious sandwich shops, and was always impressed with the quality ingredients, careful preparation, and order accuracy. This location failed on all 3. The ingredients tasted "day old", the roast beef was all end slices: tough and super well done. The preparation and accuracy were off as well: I ordered AND PAID EXTRA for extra meat and extra pepperoncini. I got neither. The Pesto Chicken is supposed to have fresh mozzarella. But for some reason, we got jack cheese instead. Of course we didn't find any of this out until we got home, 30 minutes later. $25 for two sandwiches? Usually I'm overjoyed. This time I was frustrated and upset. Maybe you guys just had a bad day, but I'm sorry to say I won't be back to see if that was the case. Horrible. We had Philly Cheese Steak. We changed the order from large to medium because of their prices being outrageous. Never in my life have I had a Philly cheesesteak taken out of the refrigerator stuck in the microwave and thrown on bread. We ordered with mushrooms. Gross they were canned. This hot sandwich was barely Luke warm. The meat was grizzly and hard to chew. And take my word for it between 2 mediums there was not even a 1/2 pound of meat. $20. +. I not only don't recommend this place I discourage you from even trying it.
