After a year, my diamond is loose and customer service has been less than desirable to work with. Every time I go in there, someone is having some issue with the computers/tablets and so it takes a lot longer to do business there than it would otherwise. When I took my ring to get inspected, they said the diamond was loose and for some reason they could not pull up the warranties we have on all the bands and diamond. I had it sent off to be fixed. Today, I got an email saying that my ring was ready to pick up but when I got there they told me it would be a little while of a wait because one person was working and the other person was doing something on the computer. After waiting for some time, they looked for the ring and said they send the emails too early and it wasn’t ready to be picked up yet. Then, after I got home, they called and said it was ready to pick up but the store closed in three minutes. Just a very irritating experience. We had sent the original wedding band out to get sized and I received the estimated date it should arrive back at my local Kay Jewelers store. I called a few days after the estimated date and the local Kay Jewelers store was on top of making sure I had my wedding band in time for the big day. After a few more weeks, I still did not receive a call that my wedding band was back at the local store. I called the store again and they were in contact with the repair shop and came up with a solution as my wedding day was only a few days away and I still have not received my wedding band. Purchased a ring online while I was in the store. While the worker was entering my card info, the price of the ring skyrocketed without my knowledge and I was charged hundreds more for a ring that wasn’t worth the price to begin with. I called the number to get a refund just to be told I have to wait three weeks for the ring to be shipped then they can do a return at the store as long as I show up in person. Problem with that is I leave on Friday to Florida to help with Hurricane relief for a month and the customer service team is an absolute joke.
