My review of Baked Bear:
I was promised a life changing experience at Baked Bear. Upon entering the establishment, I was met with the smell of cookies and sugar like a tidal wave. To my pleasure, the menu offered lots of different cookies and ice cream that caught my eye. My heart rate quickened and blood vessels started to clog at the thought of ingesting a desert of such magnitude and quality. To my dismay, the tray of brownies that I would have selected for an ice cream vessel were gone and only crumbs remained. Nevertheless I soldiered on. My order was taken and my anticipation grew. This feeling was amplified when the staff put my sandwich into a modified waffle iron in order to warm the cookies in a way my cold dead heart could not. Upon receiving the vehicle that would induce my type 5 diabetes, my eyes grew wide, and my blood vessels contracted once again. The ice cream itself was decadent and as rich as someone who bought Bitcoin back when no one knew what it was. The cookies warm and as soft was a silk pillow after a long day. I ate the dessert with a fever never before seen. I was transported to a land of sugar, cookies, and cream. As I left the establishment I took in the world around me and my eyes settled on the Planet Fitness. Both symbolizing my arrival back in this plane but also where I should go next. In short I was promised life change. And while my life was changed for the better, it was also shortened by a couple years. Rating 10/10 would shorten my...

Had been meaning to try this place for a while, so when we saw an advertisement for a free scoop of ice cream for customer appreciation day, we figured that was our cue! Despite the rain and bad weather, we made our way over.
They were quite busy - who wouldn't be, with free ice cream? Still, the service we received was nothing short of smiley and pleasant. Having been in that overwhelming service situation myself, I really admire that.
The shop itself is tiny and super cute. You can see the display full of fresh cookies and ice cream. The colors are bright and welcoming, and you can even kinda see where all the baking magic goes on.
I went pretty simple - I got a scoop of dark chocolate ice cream, and added a chocolate chip cookie to go with it. The sandwiches look delightful, but I'd need to split it with someone, and my boyfriend is on a diet.
The scoop they gave me was very generous! The chocolate was decadent, creamy, and rich. A perfect dark chocolate! The cookie was also, basically, perfect. Ever so slightly crunchy at the edges, and soft and chewy at the center. YUM! My only wish is that they would have heated the cookie so the chips would have melted, but they were so busy I didn't ask.
The combinations here are endless, especially with changing flavors of the month. I absolutely cannot wait to come back and try...
Read moreWe have been long time fans of Baked Bear. However, we came here a few weeks ago and asked for Bear Bowls, only to be told they didn’t have any. We asked if they could just put the cookie in the tin bowl, and they came back with a small paper cup as the only option, and the cookie wouldn’t even fit, yet we could see that they had the tin bowls in stock. So why they couldn’t just use the tins beats me. Tonight, we gave them another shot. Asked for bear bowls again, was told the same thing, and I asked if they only sell a certain amount of them each day, and the girl told me no, but they just simply didn’t have them. Again, why not just use the tin bowls and place the cookie at the bottom. It’s the same thing. Then my parents asked for a brownie, they said they didn’t have that either. Then as an excuse they said their baker didn’t show up for work today. Would also like to mention that the young black kid who works here mumbles the entire time he asks questions, such as what ice cream flavor and what toppings, and you can always barely hear him. Very bad past two experiences and very...
