TCBY Tuscaloosa — Local services in Tuscaloosa

Normally I have a decent experience when I visit this location, however, I visited the store on 12/17/2023 at approximately 9:30pm which was 30 minutes or so BEFORE the actual closing time. As I was approaching the store, I saw that the open sign was off but that a female with a green shirt and braids was standing behind the counter, so I went through the drive through because I assumed the store was still opened since she was behind the counter. As soon as I got to the drive through window to order, I saw the female with the green colored shirt and braids approaching the drive through window huffing and puffing because she saw me at the window waiting to order and I assume she didn’t want me to order anything since she was in the process of cleaning the store to close it. Once she came to the window, I asked her if they were still opened because I was not sure if they were open. She responded, “yeah”. I replied, “oh, because you are acting like you do not want to serve me by the way you came to window.” I then began to order but quickly changed my mind and left because of how bad and nasty her attitude was towards me. In the future, if y’all are closed 30+ minutes before actual closing time then please close the drive though and the lobby down so that customers can know that y’all are closed and so that they can avoid experiencing what I...

Going drive through only was probably a mistake.

Honestly, I wish there was a way to rate the entire company as opposed to any particular location. TCBY has never been customer friendly as far as having a clear menu. I rarely go there because it is typically frustrating trying to navigate ordering. Now they are drive through only. When we could go inside, at least I could stand out of the way to study the menu and not feel like I was holding up the line.

On top of all of that, the drive through menu is so close to the window that there is hardly time to look at it without feeling like everyone behind you wants you to move. There wasn't a list of toppings or flavors. Do you have any idea stressful it is to try and get your car full of kids' order together with no way of even knowing what your options are?

And I feel like most parents wouldn't want their kids eating frozen yogurt in the car anyway. It's going to melt before we get home? So what? Am I supposed to take them to a park where they are going to want to play too? Who has time for that every time the want yogurt? I guess I'll be going to Yogurt Mountain...

My family and I went to TCBY after dinner to get ice cream for my grandmothers birthday, and we went through the drive through. We had different forms of payment (there were 3 different orders) and the lady at the window in the drive-through seemed very rude, and when a kid from the backseat asked what flavors they had, she just gave her the menu and when she returned with our ice cream and got the menu back, she told us to have a good day and we politely let her know we had one more order (from the one who wanted To look at what kind of ice cream they had) And said since they had a line they would not take our 3rd order!! So she had us drive around and walk inside for our final order when we could have been gone by then. It wouldn’t have taken her five seconds to scoop one scoop of ice cream into a cone for us. I’ve had to wait in line for a long time too, so respecting our needs would have been great and people are willing to wait for ice cream. She was just straight up rude. If this is really a rule, it should be posted on their window...
