The University of Alabama Student Center — Local services in Tuscaloosa

While I guess that this place is a student center, the main reasons for going here are to get food or buy something at the University Supply Store

In terms of food, it has a pretty good food court. It can get very busy at noon, so go at a slightly different time if you can

The University Supply Store (everyone calls it the Supe Store) has a wide assortment of things, including books, clothing, and computers. Be aware that, while they have very nice clothing, it's very expensive, so be ready for sticker shock. Computers are a different story, at least if you're a student, faculty, or staff member, since you can take advantage of Apple education discounts.

Finally, there's a mail center downstairs where you can mail anything via USPS, but be aware that only UA departments can ship via...

It is well run, clean, well built, and organized, especially in the SupeStore and hosting clubs/etc. I give 4 stars because at times, there is miscommunication between its restaurant's online closing times and real closing times and because the lines for the restaurants could be better directed around lunch time. It gets hectic, and it is hard to get around...

The Supe store is always a fun visit. I was able to get a new University of Alabama t shirt and if I wasnt going to the game, I would have bought more. The service e was A+.
