I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with here Tuscaloosa and its staff. My experience as a tenant in this apartment complex has been nothing short of a nightmare, largely due to the consistently horrible staff. From the moment I moved in, it was clear that the staff lacked the professionalism, courtesy, and basic customer service skills that one would expect from any apartment management team. Considering the amount we all pay to live here. Here are some of the key issues that have left me deeply dissatisfied. Rude and Unhelpful Attitude: The staff members consistently exhibited a rude and unhelpful attitude. They seem to view tenant requests and concerns as nuisances rather than responsibilities. Their dismissive and condescending behavior is not only discourteous but also completely unacceptable.Lack of Responsiveness, It's an uphill battle trying to get anything fixed in this place. Maintenance requests go unanswered or take an eternity to address. It's clear that the staff has little regard for the comfort and safety of their tenants.Inconsistent Communication, Communication from the management is inconsistent and often misleading. Promises to follow up on concerns or provide updates are rarely fulfilled, leaving tenants in the dark and frustrated.Inefficiency and Disorganization, The staff's inefficiency and disorganization are astonishing. Simple administrative tasks take an inordinate amount of time to process, and they often lose important documents or information, causing additional frustration and inconvenience for tenants.Failure to Address Issues, Despite repeated complaints and requests for improvement, the staff has shown a complete lack of interest in addressing these issues. Their indifference to tenant satisfaction is astonishing. In summary, my time HERE has been marred by the consistently atrocious behavior of the staff. It is clear that they have little regard for the well-being and satisfaction of their tenants. I would strongly advise anyone considering this apartment complex to think twice and explore other options. It's been an utterly regrettable experience, and I cannot wait for the day when I can finally move out and leave this nightmare behind. Also not to mention the elevators constantly breaking due to lack of inspections and the huge holes on the sides of...
Read moreThe employees are writing reviews and its really sad. I would rather live in a dorm than live at Here again. 1. The walls are literally not even painted, they are primed and if you accidentally touch it there will be a mark. 2. I pray for my life every time I step foot into one of the elevators. If they key fob thing is broken the doors will shut and you can not get out. They also shake and make very scary noises so take the stairs at all costs. 3. I know the bar's playlists by heart and I am on the back of the building. 4. I don't think anyone from the Here team has touched the stairs since we moved in they are absolutely disgusting. 5. You pay one of the most expensive rent's on or near campus plus parking (75/month) and people constantly take other people's spots as well as the gates are never down so people that don't pay for parking park here quite often. 6. Personally I would not live near the strip in general, because people yell, cars, etc at all hours and it gets very annoying. 7. You get maybe a whole 3 minutes of hot water each time you shower. 8. The furnishings and appliances are quite cheap. 9. If you forget your key fob you are simply sol sometimes they answer the lockout number other times not so much. 10. I understand this is a college apartment and I was not expecting to live at the Ritz, but bugs and mold in an apartment less than a year old is actually unacceptable. The fan in the bathroom is absurdly loud and there is only one switch. The pool was neon green for over a month. I would not sign here again even for a "signing bonus" please do yourself a favor and live elsewhere. The location is convenient, but i promise you will be able to walk everywhere from other locations. Trust me hearing the bar's noise every night will have you thinking of placing yourself at Bryce hospital. Also the staff are literally writing reviews some of which do not even...
Read moreThe HERE is a cool place to live with a great location close to campus, the Strip and Bryant-Denny Stadium, but…
I speak on behalf of several disgruntled residents of HERE Tuscaloosa in stating our disappointment with the broken amenities at HERE, including our request to fix them.
You think you are getting a rooftop fire pit, a giant TV by the pool and a hot tub, but it might as well be a marketing gimmick “for show” because none of them work.
I would really appreciate it if HERE could fix the amenities it advertises on its website, as it is in violation of contract agreements with residents.
The Federal Trade Commission Act (FTC Act), specifically Section 5, which prohibits "unfair or deceptive acts or practices" in commerce. If the apartment complex is advertising amenities that are not functioning and refuses to fix them, it could be considered a deceptive business practice under this federal law.
At the state level, many states have Unfair and Deceptive Acts and Practices (UDAP) laws, which offer similar protections. In Alabama, the Alabama Deceptive Trade Practices Act (ADTPA) makes it unlawful for businesses to engage in false advertising or deceptive practices in their dealings with consumers.
If the lease agreement specifically promises the amenities, a failure to maintain them could also be a violation of contract law for breach of contract.
It would be nice if these issues got resolved.
The rooftop fire pit, the pool TV and the hot tub all...
