Aldi Greeneville is a clean, well staffed, well organized store. The employees are pleasant, professional, and very efficient. I have no complaints regarding this particular store, but Aldi as a corporation. Years back, Aldi was absolutely amazing. The best part was the aisle with different "finds". I had picked up many interesting items back in the day. Their "finds" today are much, much less impressive. But, times change. My biggest complaint about the Aldi corporation is their prices have gone through the roof. Yes, they have in all grocery stores. However, I find that Aldi does this very interesting pricing game; many items you may purchase are lower priced. BUT, the quantity you get is also less. If you break down the unit price of the item, you will find that you are actually paying as much, if not MORE, than the "fancy" grocery stores in town. It's the dollar store type trick; you may get a can of soup for "cheaper" but the size of, for example, a can of soup, is much smaller. So, you are actually paying MORE for what you get than if you had purchased the same can of soup in a grocery store. Packaging has changed; even with produce. For example, fresh mushrooms. Cheaper at Aldi? Yes. BUT you are only getting 6 ounces of fresh mushrooms, rather than the 8 ounce package you find in other stores. Maybe people need a lower grocery bill; understandable in these times. But please do yourself a favor; check what you are paying for the UNIT PRICE, and compare it to other stores, particularly when the "fancier stores" have pretty amazing sales. You may be surprised. Yes, they do have some pretty good prices on many items; I will still go to the store for those particular items. Some items I will absolutely not buy, because the taste and quality is below par. Aldi may be getting away with duping some people, but not all. Aldi used to be my "go to store", but not any more. In this day and age, consumers need to be super savvy. Large corporations aren't paying the price; we are. Thanks, but no...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLove the Greeneville Tennessee store. Great staff, great manager (Lisa), and great prices. Always clean, and always stocked. Aside from that I wish Aldi's had motorized scooters that other grocery stores have for those customers that have broken feet, handicaps, etc that keep them from being able to walk. I have been wanting to shop at my local Aldi store in Greeneville Tennessee, but have been unable due to my broken foot, and no motorized handicap scooters to assist me. (Addition) I wanted to add more to my previous review. Can't say enough good things about the management at the Greeneville Aldi's store. The store manager Lisa goes out of her way to make all her customers happy, and well taken care of. She goes far beyond what is asked of her to make all her customers feel important, and appreciated. Far beyond the best store manager a grocery...

I love Aldi, but this man had been rude twice and if I see him I will just be purchasing my...
