Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Greeneville

Me and my boyfriend decided to go to Dairy Queen Friday night.. we waited 5 minutes at the front for someone to take our order.. mind you, there were atleast 3 workers in the back just standing there looking at us.. well finally someone came and took our order..he ordered a burger combo and I ordered the chicken tender basket with gravy as dipping sauce, and we also ordered the pretzels and queso and cheese curds.. well when we got our food we notice we didn’t get most of what we ordered.. we were missing the queso for the pretzels, his fries, the gravy and the Sunday that went with my chicken tender basket.. we told them and they gave us everything but the fries and sundae, which they said they would bring to us.. we’ll we 20 minutes later still no fries and Sunday so we left without it because we were tired of asking for something we paid for… I am not usually one to write reviews as I have worked in the food industry but this Dairy Queen needs to step it up.. the employees you can tell could care less about their job.. I know getting workers at all right now is very hard but 1 good employee would have been better then what we witnessed...

The counter guy showed up eventually and was very confused. Part of the way into getting our order he stopped and took someone else's order. We had gotten 2 value meals that came with drinks and after he gave us one cup he said, 'I'll get the other cup' and instead took another order. Why he didn't just give us 2 cups is beyond me.

Our order took awhile and I watched as it sat on the 'pass through' shelf waiting for someone to bring it as promised. They were so disorganized it didn't seem likely they would so my hubs went up to the counter and asked for our food, pointing at it. The counter guy got it and walked it to our table as if my hubs was not standing there. It was weird.

The fries were good and hot. Nice and fresh. Yay!

The burgers were not. The meat was warmish but the buns were oddly cold. Like they hadn't had long enough to thaw but they served them anyway. It made the whole burger very 'meh'.

The best thing about this place is the soda machine. It's one of the machines with multiple flavor choices so you can customize your beverage.

Don't expect anything great from this Dairy Queen and maybe just...

I’m disappointed with this Dairy Queen location.

We came for dinner this evening (5/9/2022) and ordered ice cream after. We ordered our ice cream 30 minutes ago and it still isn’t out and I’m watching them make ice cream for car after car in the drive through so I don’t think anyone is even preparing ours even after asking them about it.

While sitting here waiting on our ice cream for the last 30 minutes, I observed a woman cleaning the legs of the tables. That’s great and all but my children pointed out to me that she was “smoking”

I then watched her hit her vape pen right in the lobby looking over her shoulder trying not to be caught but all of the customers and children around her can see her clearly.

I then watched her go straight from cleaning to serving food without going to wash her hands first. Gross.

I will add that the young lady at the register was very sweet and had excellent customer service: I didn’t catch her name but she & the ice cream were the only positive parts of our trip here...
