It's a bit pricey, but it is on the higher end of available accommodations in the London Ky area.
They serve a free breakfast that varies on what's served, have free coffee and tea, a pool area, and workout room.
Though as far as that goes, it feels like the items they sell are slightly higher in cost than other hotels I've been to, and they were under renovations during my stay.
I had a two queen bedroom. It had a bathtub/ shower combo with complementary soap, body wash, shampoo, and moisturizer.
It was free, but the shampoo barely did anything for my hair as a dude with short hair. Ladies, bring your own care products. If you are looking to do more than use it as a pitstop (like going out for lunch, etc or if you'll be at your destination that evening).
As for the men, ask for a TV guide, they have most of the big sports channels and cover many local weather stations as well.
Well, other than them so.etomes having cookies out, let's cover location.
The location is close to many restraunts, a gas station, and within minutes of Interstate 75 (I75).. though it's in a terrible location to get out of safely at many hours of the day. I left 3 times and learnt that the easiest way out was the longest and most dangerous. When pulling out, go left to the stop sign and follow that out, or take a left at another one and drive through the first gas station area to pull out towards the second by mcdonalds to get a red-light.
This is still a dangerous area due to many McDonald's customers, gas station customers and people in general all vying for a very small area to pull out.
Patience is required here, and drive with both eyes looking for the reckless folks.
Goodluck, stay safe, and hope you enjoy the rest of your...
Read moreOverpriced due to baseball tournament in town $199 per night for a Hampton Inn room?? I guess there is only brand loyalty when they are competing for your business when the hotels aren't full, but basic extortion for a filled hotel for a one time event resulting in a 5-6 day stay. Wouldn't honor discount rates that are normally honored for continued customers for a money grab for one event. Rooms were half updated. Went the cheaper route and only tiled half the room and the rest had dingy, dark brown carpeting. Couch was older. Narrow tubs with curved sides made it harder to stand. Workout out room was laughable compared to other Hampton Inns I have stayed in for much less per night. $199 a night for a room in GREENEVILLE, Tennessee! Ridiculous. Supply and demand (more like extortion and price gouging) . Common main floor bathrooms out of towels constantly. Ice machine on the 2 nd floor not working. When evening staff was notified, they said it doesn't' work and couldn't call in for service because the owners were out of the country? I had to go to different floors multiple times for ice. Breakfast bar was limited compared to other Hampton Inns. It is obvious these owners are in it for the money and put their staff on the front lines to deal with their inadequacies of investing in their business. Manager Elaine was very nice and helpful. Day shift front desk young woman (dark hair, didn't get her name) was very nice and helpful. They both need a raise to deal with greedy...
Read moreDidn't know they were renovating until we arrived. I guess my $159 room rate that I thought was excessive was to help pay for the renovations. We were in town for a concert and had a very late night not getting to bed until about 2:30 am only to be awakened early on a Sunday more by the sounds of construction. The breakfast was mediocre at best. I told the front desk clerk of my displeasure and she said they were assured there would be no construction on Sunday mornings. Had I known of this inconvenience in advance, I could have stayed somewhere that I could have got more than a few hours sleep. The desk clerk who's name escapes me was very cordial and gave me $30 off but I still paid with tax over $150 for a very unsatisfactory stay. I have a picture of the people who were not supposed to be working on Sunday morning of management...
