At first, I was very overwhelmed choosing a Makeup Artist. So much so that I put it off for quite some time as I was completely unfamiliar with the vendors in the area and didn't know where to start.

Upon sending inquiry notes through The Knot to a handful of vendors, Kaelyn immediately made an impact on me through her amazing customer service. Her response to me was not just a 'template' or a list of pricing. It was a survey for her to learn more about me and then set up a call to personalize our conversation around my vision for my Wedding Day. Coming from the Hospitality industry, I was drawn to this level of service and her commitment to customize my experience so that it met my needs, not simply a standard offer of services.

She maintained this level of service throughout the entire experience. She was on top of scheduling touchpoints, my make up trial and the day-of plans. She was timely in her responses to my emails, sending updated proposals/contracts and made coordinating payments easy.

Her professionalism through it all gave me a level of confidence that I knew would be carried through to our Big Day. I knew I needn't worry about everything running on time or the ladies in my life not having a good experience.

As an out-of-town bride who had to postpone her wedding a year, I was looking to keep the stress down in whatever way possible. Fortunately, Kaelyn with Myfairmakeup Artistry LLC was recommended to me for wedding day makeup. She was flexible and willing to reschedule for 2021; she also worked around my trips home for my makeup trial.

Kaelyn was very easy to work with and responded quickly to any messages I sent, whether it was through her website or via text. We had a pre-trial video call where she asked me about my makeup style, preferences, desired look, etc. She was thorough! And it paid off, because the makeup trial was a great experience. She perfectly captured the look I was hoping for and chose the ideal colors for my complexion. On the day of the wedding, Kaelyn was on time, prepared and go-with-the-flow. She even worked around our lunch and waited to do our lips until afterwards! My bridesmaids and mom, who she hadn’t met before, also looked stunning! They weren’t used to wearing much makeup, but loved how Kaelyn made them up. And my makeup looked just as lovely as it did during the trial. Kaelyn is personable, professional, and exceptionally talented. I am extremely picky with makeup and have super high standards, so I spent a lot of time researching makeup artists. When I found Kaelyn's portfolio, I knew I had to hire her, and she did not disappoint! Somehow she actually exceeded all of my expectations!

She did the makeup for my engagement shoot, as well as wedding day makeup for myself, my mom, and 3 of my bridesmaids. Everyone was thrilled with their looks and they held up beautifully all day. If you want to feel like a flawless model on your big day, look no further!

I also want to add that Kaelyn is super committed to sanitary procedures (and was even before the pandemic), so you could not be in better hands. Even with the extra time needed to ensure proper cleaning of products, Kaelyn was right on schedule and had created a timeline with built-in buffers.
