Fresh Start Diner — Restaurant in Twinsburg

We arrived at 8:50am asking if they’d be able to accommodate a party of 13; which they happily agreed to as the dining room wasn’t full and were able to accommodate seating. It wasn’t until 9:50am they realized they never put our order in. This needing to take our entire tables order again. We had been asking for time updates and were given short answers or even dismissed by other staff. It’s kind of hard to ignore a large table of 13 yelling, “excuse me!”, and yet we were frequently ignored by some staff. Our waitress was very apologetic, however once the food was out they had made ANOTHER mistake and needed to resubmit 1 order again. We notice other staff trying to help out with serving our order but I don’t think there was enough communication so other tables were asked about our food, not knowing where to bring some of the sides.

When it came to the check, despite repeatedly saying splitting the check would not be an issue, it took 20 minutes to ring out.

Their food was ok. Didn't like the grits very much. They tasted as if they make them with skim milk and a lot of it. They just tasted off, like they had poured dish water in with them. Anyway, the atmosphere was meh. Everyone didn't stop and stare when I walked in. That tends to happen to me a lot in certain establishments out in Twinsburg. Can't be too careful with certain places out here. Twinsburg isn't that far away from Hudson and neither is the racism. But that ...uh wasn't the case here. The home fries were on the soggy side but the french toast was ... decent, I guess. It's just an average diner with sub average food for people who don't have that many taste buds anymore to begin with. Some of the employees were nice, the rest pretended not to see me and would look straight through me. It took forever for them to take my signed receipt. Couldn't make eye contact with them and it wasn't for the lack of trying. I'm not sure I'll be back. I miss Sam's Diner in Maumee, Ohio. Freh Start could take some...

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! - Food was top tier for the price. I loved , I mean LOVED the guacamole egg benedict. It was savory , salty, lightly spiced, and just down right amazing especially with some Frank's hot sauce. We also ordered the big pancake. Now if you are a person of sweets and wanna try something different, this is the item you want!!! It is huge!! So if you're very hungry you should be good but I do recommend a partner to share the big pancake with. The big pancake comes with like 4 scoops of icecream, we got chocolate chips with strawberries and blueberries and of course on stop was whipped cream. We added the syrup onto the big massive icecream pancake and it was so freaking good!! The service was top notch as well. Our waitresses were sweet as can be. The atmosphere is nice.
