Okay, so I wanted to try the Berry Chantilly cake, just a slice; and at $4.49 a slice I thought it was a lot. I also picked up the Bell & Evan’s chicken nuggets and patties, wasn’t go to pass those up. But, back to the cake, ıt did not disappoint. I have never liked frosting, but this frosting was light, not too sweet, and it had a subtle rich creamy taste to it; the cake, also was not too sweet and the texture was on point, even though I don’t really care for white cake; the berries-blue/straw/black/raspberries were sweet, fresh, fragrant, and firm—were to die for. I’ve eaten fruit from the day I could eat it, maybe 13 months old, back in 1964, and I know good fruit, and this fruit was amazingly good. Good variety of retailers, sizable parking lot, and it's close to a number of major routes (I-78, 124, GSP, 638, etc.) Only complaints: The parking lot is in desperate need of paving (craters and piles of gravel & tarmac hidden under tarps?!?), and there are a number of tractor-trailers in the section nearest I-78, around which some dubious individuals congregated, and engaged in (some very obvious) extralegal activities. Usually busy. Weekends especially. The parking lot is large and spaces closest to stores are always taken. Ever since the ShopRite opened up and took the place of some former adjoining shops, the lot's been busier.
