Grocery Outlet Bargain Market — Local services in Upland

I had only been here once or twice about 6 years ago Ish When they first open They always sent flyers to my house. It was nice new clean. I went this past Sunday at about 7pm Due to being in the area again And while I was going to shop my bf needed to use the restroom. I asked the guy at the first register close to the door where it was located and he shook his head in almost disbelief that I would have even asked that type of question. He said they “didn’t have one”… He did not say it’s off limits to public or any of that. I get the public isnt always the best but to not have a restroom there just baffles me. So it’s ok for me to come often spend hundreds but you can’t offer a restroom? Sometimes grocery shopping isnt a few minute trip sometimes i’m trying to restock my entire refrigerator.

Now mind you prior to entering the store I even went as far as sign up for their emails because they were offering a $3 coupon to spend.

As I walked up and down the aisles. It just looked so dirty. From the windows to the absolute clutter and unorganized aisle and shelves. This wasssss a nice store it’s only been a few years that you guys have been opened…

It shouldn’t look this bad and your employees shouldn’t look that miserable. The lighting gave me Walmart vibes and no sound of music or anything to keep your customers somewhat entertained while they shop. You know tactics… to keep them walking up and down the aisles?

Since I only had picked up the small basket from under the conveyor belt I felt it was easy enough to put back in it’s most likely correct spot by the door on my way out.

Oh also at this point I decided not to spend my money here. I get to the front area. No specific area on where to put these away. No wonder the public will assist in the unorganized chaos you got going on. You don’t even have it organized.

Came into the store and there was a white and asian woman at the register lines assisting customers.. Both long both moving slow. Asked if they could call someone else up to help Irene says it only them two. I was in irenes line and she assisted a lady before me with alcohol and only asked for her dob.. Now as many times I ‘ve been coming there I only get asked my dob which no problem if they ask me for my id. Its the principle! So when she assists me she asks for my id, I replied well how come u didnt ask the other lady for her id she goes to say cause she looks older than me, my response was well if you ask her for her dob why I don't I get the same energy? She was very argumentative and went on to say people just wanna be mad! And slams my receipt down not placed in my hand but slammed on the counter!That’s the kind of customer service you want to put out there! So I call the store immediately since irene says she the manager and as I am writing this review I have been left on hold for almost 7 mins the other lady who was assisting the other register was also rude! She answers the phone and I mentioned if I could speak to an available manger other than irene she yells hold on and I have been placed on hold no pick up or anything now for about 8 mins now! Truly deserves a zero! I used to live close to the store and it used to be great. Minute manager once and he who is courteous and helpful. 100% certain it's a different manager now. There was an item out of place. There was a store employee walking by and I said excuse me but he ignored me and kept walking. I walked up to register to ask price and if there were more. She was asking me questions which if she had listened it's what I was asking her. She was extremely annoyed as if she was doing doing the job without getting paid. Extremely rude and just told me an isle number but refused to help. Thought I should go to a different store but I already had quite a few items in my cart. Continue to trying to shop. Had question on another item and there was a third employee in the store. I asked him and he rudely with a bad temper said no! I thought he misunderstood my question therefore I asked a different way and again without even looking at me in a very rude tone said no!
