Every year I look for the Peanuts Gang Advent Calendars. It s a simple request. I went to this store before Thanksgiving and asked if they had them. For whatever reason this year they were coming in later than usual. I asked one of the women if she could call when they arrived. SURE! She took my new phone number so, foolishly, I assumed we re good. Fast forward two weeks, yesterday, I called them if the Peanuts Gang calenders arrived, and of course they remembered me, but skipped the calling part. I wanted 6 total for vsrious people. I got one. Hallmark isnt cheap and for the price I pay, not just at Christmas, but during the year as well, someone should be able to do a CUSTOMER SERVICE call back. I guess you have to be from the Upper Arlington inner circle to get it done right. Well, Im not. Im from NYC, we re supposed to be the ones that dont care. No apology, no let s figure things out....nothing. I was reading the other comments here. The staff is "nice" enough when you walk thru the door, but after that good luck, you re on your own. They do things their way. Too bad it just lost them a customer. Hey, it s Upper Arlington, Im not part of the inner circle there. I was the only customer when I entered the store, no one said a word, they were just chatting among themselves. I thought, 'Oh cool, they let people shop by themselves.' That was until another customer entered the store right after me and was approached and asked if he needed any assistance. Another one who entered after that was also immediately offered help. I was in the store for more than 20 minutes wandering around, and yes they saw me, and no one said a single word until I left. You'd better be white, or be prepared to be completely ignored. However was disappointed about the customer service I experienced during a recent visit. When I entered the store on Nov 25, a sign at the entrance stated “Everything 25% off”. A customer in line in front of me mentioned this and a salesperson said the sign should have been removed the day before, however they would honor their mistake and they took 25% off the customers purchase. When I gave my merchandise to the sales person she said she would not give me the same discount the customer just a few minutes before had received. No explanation was given. I was totally disrespected....
