ALDI — Local services in Upper Deerfield Township

The employees there are completely miserable, the Store Manager Joe is a Compulsive Liar. All the food you buy, you MUST have to always check the DATES because they’re too lazy to check the date in that store. (when they close the store for the remodel in 2018, they Sent the unsold merchandise to other stores in more than half of the stuff was outdated food) Don’t buy the Pizza because they Over Coded the Pizzas the frozen Pastries & Breads and they’re Frozen Sausages our way over coded. For what the the company tell them to code it for. They doubled the dates bc they are too lazy to count the correct dates,

They don’t know how to staff the employees correct and they’re always trying to screw the employees over. They lie to everyone when they hire them they only tell you want you want to hear. Then they act like you are just hearing things.

This Company is horrible to the employees, perfect example during Covid. There was no support to the employees they were treated like a number, The Area Manager & District Manager don’t acknowledge the staff only the Store Manager. I hadn't heard of Aldi before but wanted to check it out. Their fruit is so fresh and they have a lot of it. Other stores I get raspberries and their white and fuzzy before the end of the week. UGH!!!! They can have their busy days (mondays). They're always ready to call people to register. The store is truly a diamond in the rough. You can't beat their prices. You can NOT use coupons here because its already a discount store. The staff is pleasant and eager to help you if need . I hope they continue to be around and continue becoming better. The cashier that was on register 2 around 1pm today (4/24/23) really made my day. They said they haven’t seen me in a while and was wondering how I was doing. I was left speechless because I really didn’t think anyone noticed me? But they did and I can’t even tell you how much that meant to me. I specifically drive about 30 mins to this Aldi because it’s still one of the originals. It’s small and doesn’t trigger my anxiety like the bigger Aldi’s do.
