The food is ok, but the bus boy who took our drink order didn't tell us that Mt Dew was not free refills because they brought us cans (even though it clearly states on the menu "sodas free refills"), and it doesn't say except cans. So because they were can soda when our server came over I asked him if the Mt Dew was free refills and he didn't understand me, so I pointed it out on the menu where it clearly says "soda free refills" and he said "Oh yes". We were not ready to order yet, so then a few minutes later another server comes over to us asking to take our order, so I guess they switched tables or something. I want sure what I was getting so I hadn't ordered my drink yet, and we did take a little while to decide what we wanted. So when we were ready we had to flag down our server and when she finally came over she took our order and at that time I ordered my drink. So as we waited for our food you would think my drink would come, but it didn't. Now our food is coming out and I still do not have my drink, so she serves us and I ask her for my drink again and she doesn't apologize but said "Oh yeah" and asked the bus boy to get it. Then after all that, as we were boxing up our leftovers the bus boy reached over my food to get a plate and I said "That's rude please don't reach over my food" Then a minute later he did it again and that time both my husband and I said, "we asked you to please not reach over our food, that is rude!" He looked at us like he had no clue what we said. So then I went up to pay and it was the bus boy, so I asked to speak with a manager. As I told the manager all this he seemed to not care and blamed it on them sending 2 employees home and it being busy. That shouldn't matter and he brushed off my complaints without even trying to fix the problem. We will not be going back there and I'll be telling everyone I know how unprofessional this...
Read moreWasn't very satisfied at all especially for the prices but that being said when our food was delivered we found a hair in my granddaughter's food. And when we brought it to the attention of the waitress cuz she just put the plate down I seem to be an issue so we know that they rewarm the same food over and they even burnt the top of it a little bit in the oven and gave it back to us so we refuse to take it back we ordered something else and finally my granddaughter was so disgusted with the outcome that we just decided you know she didn't want anything there other than the desert. But I brought it to the attention of the manager he had kind of an attitude I said well we replaced another whole meal you made us waste at 1. Really it there was hair in the food. I've been in the situation or two like this once in awhile but not too often where maybe we give you credit on the meal or they give you a discount neither was offered. The manager was young I can take you to have kind of an attitude so I spoke to him I said listen you also on the Golden Pigeon Diner which I love I've gone there for over 30 years and you're telling me that a customer of over 30 years is unhappy and you're not doing anything to fix this I'm definitely going to speak with the manager of the door of the Golden Pigeon Diner as you all on the same buildings. And he decided even with an attitude still to give us credit for that meal. It was a birthday dinner which made it worse. The atmosphere could be better it manager could take some classes on how to prove managerial skills. We or very...
Read moreGood was greasy and very salty, plates were burning hot but food was lukewarm. My husband’s toast had mold on one side. Our booth was FILTHY. But, I didn’t say a word about anything until I learned that we were not charged correctly for my son’s food. I told our waitress he will have the fruit hotcakes with a side of bacon. She said, how many pancakes and I said, one should be fine. She said there would be an additional charge for more than one fruit which I said that’s not an issue. When we got the check we learned we were charged for my son’s food by item, not as the meal I asked for. I brought it to the front’s attention when I went to pay because the way we were charged, we got less food and had to pay more. I was told that the difference wasn’t very much money and the staff cannot communicate to the kitchen to change the meal to one pancake instead of the three that come with the fruit hotcakes. The woman up front continued to show me examples in the menu of the price differences between each item as if I did not understand that the difference wasn’t very just a few dollars and was extremely argumentative. I continued to explain that I just wanted to be charged for what I ordered, I have no problem paying extra for the second fruit. She said she could not change the check and then proceeded to just remove my sons meal. I did not want free food, I just wanted to pay for the meal I ordered instead of each individual item. It just felt like the waitress was trying to make the bill higher to get a better tip. This place is not worth the headache and...
